I think Phil has switched between Cook, Walton, and George the entire season. Walton seems to be the best fit because he does everything well especially passing.

Damn, you people have good memory. I guess I'm also going to have to eat crow for my "You're not going anywhere with Luke Walton as your starter" statement too. Horry for 3 will remember that one...
Good call on the rebounding Shoog. Suns just grabbed like 3 offensive rebounds in a row![]()
Thomas pulled a Nazr there. Open one side of the basket with wide open layup. Instead his pump fakes to draw more defenders and goes for a more difficult reverse layup and misses.
I actually want to see that movie...
Poseidon?
I, of course, remember the original.
<Insert Old Man joke>
Let's go Suns!
This series deserves a 7th game.
Good flick...
Nice flop Mr. House...
I still can't remember why the Spurs didn't keep Barbosa.
Damn, Lakers are already in the penality with 8 minutes left in the quarter. Where are the Stern is fixing it with the refs so the Lakers will win conspiracy theorists?
there is a offical thread about game in the nba forum![]()
I don't think there is an explanation as to why Shawn Marion is an amazing regular season player and ing useless postseason player far to often.
Soft serve...
Because, he like Nash, is a by product of the system they play under. When it's slowed down and he doesn't have Nash giving him easy buckets in transition they collapase.
Because they didn't want him?
He was drafted for Phoenix by San Antonio, wasn't one of those things where the Spurs actually wanted him.
From memory, that is correct, I think.![]()
soft? That's a fact.
Kobe needs to stop letting the scrubs take his shots![]()
marion sucks in postseason under three point guards
kidd,marrburry and nash
why
marion = three point shot created on fast break
easydunks you do not get in postseason
long rebounds that come to him because suns shoot so many threes
because they were stupid and wanted kidd and did not want his contract to count against the cap
But tonight the Suns are scoring out the wazoo and Marion still is sucking.
I think between this year and last year's WCF he's had problems stepping it up under pressure.
Has anybody ever watched The Closer?
No other player on the Phoenix squad last season struggled to much in the playoffs in the system. Amare is as much a product of Nash as Marion is and he did fine. Nash himself does fine and he's in the same system.
Marion also was invisible in 2003 when Phoenix had Marbury, so I'm not sure that's correct. I just don't get it. They don't run plays for him normally and he gets his numbers from fast breaks, putbacks, broken plays etc it's not like he is a shooter who goes cold in the playoffs.
I just don't understand, his game doesn't really coincide with being the type of game which should struggle in the playoffs because it is based on hard work, a nose for the ball and athleticism.
I remember him being owned by Bowen last year and everyone in the media was ing about his play. The result: he played even worse.
