Thats the way it goes.
They're just guessing.
Bavetta hasnt been past the 14 day rule
I thought they announce the refs right before the game?

Hmm...
Who were the refs for the past 3 games? Salvador was in the last one. I don't rem who was before that. If the geezer wasn't in the 2 before that, I think we're screwed with him. =(
I thought the 14 day rule was for the city
I think that Bavetta is the worst ref in the league, but I think the reason behind that is that he is the most swayed by the home team. He is very consistent about that. He calls it bad for the home team, everytime.
Now this is a fact. Last game he reffed in this series was all about him...and that's what I hate. Javie is the same way. He takes the focus off the game and onto the refs... I can't stand that. We have not had Joey Crawford or Jack Nies in this series, have we?
Also haven't had Delaney. And there's nothing to say we can't have Javie back.
I like Deleney. Wouldn't mind him reffing this game.
Wasn't delaney in game 5?
I think he was in one of the close losses (game 3/4).
That wasn't one of his better games, but he's a good ref. I'd rather have him than Bavetta.
Ya'll don't see the resemblance?
No let's not...let's agree that I am right and you don't know ty officiating.
And is there such a thing as ass cancer?![]()
Sure...
Bavetta, Steve Javie, and Delaney were all spotted having lunch together on the riverwalk today.

on ticket760.com right now.
That's just lovely.
Someone hip check Javie into the Riverwalk, maybe he will catch the flu.
it. I don't care if the refs are Stevie Wonder, Corky from "Life Goes On" and Frank Sinatra's rotting corpse.
The Spurs need to take this from the start. The Spurs need to come out of the gates with such intensity and dominance that the refs will swallow their whistles out of sheer amazement.
And once those whistles have been regurgitated, the Spurs should be ahead by such an insurmountable margin that the referees will conclude that the best course of action is to let the game end as soon as possible. The only further call they will make is to nullify any out-of-bounds play in order to let the clock run.

One can only hope.
Regardlesss, tonight I'll be![]()
BTW, there is a Bavetta entry in Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ _Bavetta
Those were precisely my thoughts.
They said these guys are in the ATT, so I guess they are the refs.
Give me a ing break.
Bavetta.
Javie
Delaney
We better play a perfect game. ing David Stern, man.
he'll be here too.
I wonder if my drink can reach him from the upper deck.![]()
Well, this was just posted on MavTalk, so take it for what it's worth:
Uh-oh. I just heard on ESPN that Dan Crawford is officiating tonight's game, not D. Bavetta as reported earlier. That makes me very nervous; we may have a lot to overcome tonight as the Mavs' record with him officiating sucks.
Please let ESPN/Woody Paige be wrong
This is old news. Cubie already had Bavetta lubed up after game 6
