I keep replaying this one too... dumb dumb dumb. Everyone here watching the game was screaming "let him shoot !!!!" to no avail. I dont understand this at all. I love manu, but damn, this one was a season killer. Oh, well, we must let it go... nothing can be done at all. Maybe next year.
Dirk is a great player, and STILL Manu has done far more good than bad this series, without him we're 4-1, possibly 4-0 if he hadn't defended Stackhouse in game 1, we had our chance we blew it ...We had 22 seconds left in Regulation to shoot a two. These situations come down to COACHING. Coaching wins tight games....but we didn't lose it really. Mavs BEAT US. END OF STORY. No blaming Manu, or Tony, or Tim or our BENCH, they all gave their best this series, and couldn't break it down in tonight.
If Manu want to foul, why don't foul a little bit harder to prevent Dirk to score? I couldn't watch the game and what happened?
I don't get how every game in the series, Dirk gets so many fouls called in the 4th, its unbelievable.
