He's a drama queen. Half the time, his falling down 7 times and getting up 8 is due to his flailing and theatrics. But I'll give him credit since he almost always gets the call.
I sorta kinda feel the same way.
I hate Miami.

Fire Flip!!!!!!!!
The Heat had more energy than the Pistons tonight and the Pistons were only able to match it in 2-3 minute stretches...
There goes that HCA Pistons worked so hard for...Pistons defense has been suffering as of late. Heat shot 56%.
too little too late.
If it ain't rough, it ain't right!
5-20 on three pointers for the Pistons? Is that right?
What were they thinking...
tiredness is no excuse
the Spurs had game 1 vs the mavs straight after a tough series with Kings and they still won
they are professionals athletes, they should be able to bring it all the time
DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!
Let's Go Tigers!
The lack of energy is probably due to the fact that the Pistons just finished a game 7 two nights ago, while the overweight Miami team has been sitting on their asses for almost a week.
That's typical for us....just we normaly hit like 12 of those.
It was really the Cavs series that was weird, because we hardly ever attempted them there.
WTF does being a professional have with being tired? They aren't robots..
Shame on them. Larry Brown would NEVER have let them attempt that many 3's.![]()
no worries. this is going 6 or 7 no matter what.
Can I blame the officiating instead?
Conspiracy I tell ya...
they get paid millions to bring it all the time.........of course they get tired but its not an excuse to fall back on
as i said, the Spurs did the same thing in their series and won game 1, no difference. The Pistons got outplayed and its no suprise
Honestly... I don't want to say it's done. But unless Flip has a revelation and starts really getting the bench involved, I think the starters are going to be too tired to execute their offense (Read: Make jumpshots). The Pistons played well enough tonight that they could have won easily if they had their legs under them.
Who said they lost ONLY because they were tired?
They couldn't throw the ball in the ocean, stop penetration from a 56 year old backup PG, closeout on shooters, USE THE ING BENCH, etc. etc.
i blame Flip. We all knew he would choke the team in the playoffs
![]()
i wonder how long b4 the NY post startes rumours about LB heading back to Detroit![]()
Vescey =![]()
boo heat beat us boo
Those are all signs of being tired. The jumpers were short (dead legs). The defense was slow (dead legs).
I'm tired of saying they were tired because it's their own damn fault for being tired...
I would expect adjustments in G2 but this is Flip we are talking about. Enough said, eh?
Well they play a 7 man rotation the entire playoffs. The only two bench guys Flip uses are McDyess and Hunter. Of course the Pistons starters are going to get tired...hence the reason their jumpshots came up short in the 4th.
