I cannot begin to tell you how much pleasure was derived from seeing the Mavs lose last night. I only watched the last part of the game and I was cheering for the Suns! The look on Mark Cuban's face and AJ's and Dirk's was priceless!

    Go Suns!

God I still can't freaking believe that we lost to those guys. Never mind that we clawed all the way back to be in the position to win. We shoulda torched them on our floor in Game 7. God damn small ball! !!!
That "God damn small ball" is what allowed the Spurs to come back....

Those guys would have been lickin their chops, if Nazr or Rasho hit the floor. It would have been a steady parade to the free throw line..

Yeah, That was priceless. Cuban looked like he was trying to talk and couldn't get the words out, that mouth was moving so fast, and AJ looked like he had just ate a bowl of .

The guy on the right gets paid over 16 million dollars a year, (this year & next), to help injured Phoenix Suns players off the court...

The Los Angeles Lakers....The Official Goodwill Ambassadors to the NBA
Tim Duncan once said Bryan Grant was "the hardest working cat in the NBA". Grant was a great player (pre-injuries). He is also a great humanitarian.

I honestly tried for 48 hours +, but I just cannot dig deep enough to root for a Dallas team even though they are from TX and have Avery on the sidelines + Harris (who I followed at Wisconsin).

They still have too much baggage, too wierd of a rich childish owner, too many churlish at udes among players who cannot hold a jockstrap to Ginobili or Duncan, too many fans that act su ously like immigrants from Sacremento; and most importantly, I like many fans, hold a still lingering suscipion that the wrong team moved on, period.

I cannot believe in this life I am reduced to rooting for Shaq and Nash right now but life goes on, Spurs will be back and stronger than before.

    Avery? Harris??

Cuban is the reason I'm not rooting for them!

I have been a Mavs fan for 18 years...ever since I moved to Dallas from Houston in 1988. I have always pulled for the Spurs after they beat us because their success made us look better. I can very much understand your feelings vs Cuban and therefore the Mavs. I have four children that were all at one time wild Mavs fans but now two of them cheer for the Spurs...all because of Cuban. My at ude is that the Mavs were my team before they were Cubans...he can't take them away from me. All I would ask is that you forget that Cuban is the owner and concentrate on Avery and the players...they are some fine people...including JET. If we are lucky enough to win it all I will not watch when they present the trophy.

    My theory is:

Detroit: Can't barrack for them. It's impossible. We were supposed to meet them in the Finals, so I wouldn't want them to win it without going through the Spurs.

Miami: Shaq, can't barrack for that team at all.

Dallas: As if. They just beat the Spurs, there is no 'transference' of allegiance if you get beat...

    so that leaves Pheonix.

If Amare was on the team, I would just be not paying attention. But seeing as he isn't, and Steve Nash is kinda cool - they gain my vote by default.

Dear Sac town - sorry I did not spell your city right or town or whatever it is these days in the hinderlands of CA.

By the way, a Kings fan (or worse a Blazer fan) talking smack? Please win a series once when it matters, Spurs screwed up once (or were hosed take your pick), but at least they have some fine memories.

A least for one year, Mavs fans can talk smack and we have to let them, unless the Suns sweep them = GO SUNS!
