Penny Hardaway 2006-2007
damn what is with the spurs? why the would they be intersted in another old washed up player? they should be trying to get younger and more athletic, not the other way around.
Penny Hardaway 2006-2007
I'm confident that Penny Hardaway wouldn't accept a 12th man role with the Spurs. That's for sure.
No thanks.
Dude would be 35 next yr, no thanks even for the vet min. I don't think he'll be refreshed at 35.
the only way I am ok with him is if the spurs carry about 14 or 15 people
not 12
I could even live with the 35 part (* see Bruce Bowen) but Penny Hardaway has seriously bad wheels. Dude need to hang it up now while he can still walk.
I used to love Penny Hardaway back when he was in college. I thought for sure he'd be the next big thing.
i guess we can't be right all the time.![]()
Is he a hypochondriac?
I could live with the 35 part also, but the fact that his 35 is more like 45. He hasn't been productive in yrs. Bowen, Finely have.
No, he just suffered a career-ending injury, but didn't actually end his career.
I'm not even sure he's saying the Spurs are interested.
I think he's saying that he has the Spurs on his list.
Maybe the Spurs would bring him in and work him out if he or his agent called them. But I don't think that he's one of their top priorities. The Lakers are interested, the Spurs. Ah, Miami and the Rockets. Those teams are on my list right now.
Rule number one in improving your stock is telling other teams that the best teams in the league are interested.
This is like not too long ago when Roy Tarpley said the Spurs were interested.
I'd WAY rather have GHill than The Nickle. As to why you don't bring him in: He'd be clogging a roster spot that we need for a developing player.
if we sign him do we also get little penny?
I haven't seen little penny in a long time. is he still alive?
gtfo, i dont want this team to have anything todo with more scrubs
Aren't the spurs the oldest team in the league.
Wow! I think the Spurs organization has been twisted inside out. If they pull the trigger on this, the handwriting will be on the wall.
"Spurs squander another year of it's team's core's prime."
Not to mention, one of the last 3 years they have of winning a championship with truly one of the greatest players to ever play the game.
Stay tuned, . . .![]()
Enough with the AARP experimentation. Time to get younger.
yeah, look how far Van Excel Got Us, we could use another one like him, or maybe better, trade for Antoine Walker!
Pass...
Anyone who actually is considering it is blind. Penny stinks. He's a fraction of what he was-- and not even back then. Shaq made him look better than he actually was. The goal is to stay deep, not keep old guys in stock, hoping they'll resurrect themselves for a day. The Van Exel reasoning is justified.
