Im starting to respect TIMVP more after his Reggie Evans thread. To many of the other quality basketball posters on this board - Ducks, Chump, and even Kori like to grind their teeth pooh-poohing everyone elses ideas, but rarely stick their own heads out. Just once I'd like to see these other posters run with a player, no matter his supposed short-comings.
LJ always sticks his neck out on ideas.
Remember when Ron Mercer was playing decent but LJ started that thread saying that he should be waived and he was practically stoned to death by the forum regulars.Then later when he actually got waived, LJ celebrated hard about being right.
He actually thinks very similar to Pop in regards to basketball stuff for the most part. It's kind of funny.
I love everyone who posts in here!! Everyone brings something special, even if it is stupid, but you have to move around to appreciate everyone. Solid D is good in the Spurs forum but sucks as a troll, but gets an E for effort and getting Mouse's panties in a wad. TimVP and Whott are cool but there are so many others even home porn GIG has gotten my respect.
This site just plain kicks ass due to the many contributors, even the annoying ones. Kudos to one and all on a job well done!!!!!

LJ is one of the smartest persons I know when it comes to basketball. FWD is up there also...plus he is fun to hang with!
The list for me would be Kori, SW, Manny (the weather God), Melmart, Sequ (Spurs in 4!) JohnnyBlaze, Slomo, KEDA (gotcha dog!) Alamo50 and Exstatic.

I don't make it into the basketball forum very often - but my longstanding forum favorites (mostly from their posts in the Club and Political forums) are FWDT, travis2, LittleGeneral, GoN, Manny, and Spurm. A relative newcomer (not from the old board... at least not that I can recall) rising fast up the charts is CBF.
I also like AHF and boutons_, because their opinions act as a fairly reliable indicator of things that are incorrect or just plain stupid. A person could rise up the ranks of a Fortune 500 company simply by doing/thinking the opposite of those two.
And for that, the founder receives the well-deserved "kluby" backpatter award.
Chopper (Ed Helicopter Jones) should not have to wait 3 pages before he's mentioned. Also, S y and Admiral are not forgotten.

As far as posters, I don't really have any favorites on here. Marcus Bryant was a favorite on SR so if he's still around here...I'd put him up there. Mouse is amusing at times. Kori is knowledgeable and informative. That's about it.
I don't mean to sound callous, but I already said my offseason plan is floating about there on the internets as we speak. I'll revise it as time goes on, but my 2 cents are already thrown in. Do a search for "Ramel" on thie Spurs board since I am the only person who has seen this guy play.
I don't feel the need to repeat myself too often though I have brought up the trade scenarios in other threads. I'll comment on others as they come up -- since they come up in bunches, so will my opinions. C'est la vie.
