We wish you all the very best in the NBA finals.....You know I can’t actually refrain from hoping, that Shaquille O’Neal trips and lands squarely on Dirk Nowitzki or that Jason Terry gets confused in the next dog-pile and punches Keith Van Horn instead of an opposing player.... Oh, How wonderful it will be to see Mark Cubans face! The whining, complaining, the threats of sending more videos to David Stern.... (I hope he does not get his private collection mixed up in the process)...

Ever shall I cherish the fond remembrance of Thee, and think of the pleasant hours ahead....As your hopes for a 1st NBA le is dashed away.....

I'm trying to decide which team I dislike the most. I thought it was the Heat, with Shaq's arrogance, Riley's penchant for the limelight, or all those "role" players who couldn't make it anywhere else. And now I'm reading all this Mav talk, acting as if they'd won something. That video back there is just something that wouldn't come out here. I hate both teams. I still remember Dirk bad-mouthing Dampier for not being the scorer Dirk is. I'm sure the other Mav players "love" him on the team.

Still, they are representing us a western conference team. I'm holding my nose, though.

Yeah tough to pull for the Mavs as a Spurs fan but not much choice....the Heat I mean come on. Just hope for a good series.....my guess is Mavs in 6.

Good lord just reading through these threads....all your bitterness and hate for the Mavs (most of it baseless). It was a great series....OT in Game 7 for heavens sake. The Mavs won....deal with it. Sure there were calls that were questionable and went against both teams.

As a Mavs fan I have always cheered for the Spurs once the Mavs were out of the playoffs. If for no other reason than they are a WCF team and another team from Texas. Some of you need to growup and stop acting like children. GO MAVS!!!!

Pretty easy to do. The entire league admires and tries to emulate the Spurs org, and FAs prefer SA as a destination.

OTOH,
the Spurs:

don't have an very-effeminate-if-not-gay megalomaniac, egocentric owner who has real problems with personal boundaries,

don't hvae $30M is dead-beat player contracts,

don't have a whiny -ass, big-mouthed, childish coach,

and

don't have total assholes like Terry, Stackhouse, Dampier.

Sorry Dee Bo, but as a Mavs fan I have to say that a Mavs fan telling a Spurs fan how to behave is kind of lame, especially considering how the Mavs board I'm on is overrun with smug gloating classless d_cks despite the fact the Mavs haven't even won anything yet. And if we were the victims of some of the lame calls the Spurs were hit with, you can bet our fans would be upset with good reason too.
