hehe. there really is no point in me even responding to this. you make my points for me.

anyway, the reason you are an idiot is for making crazy pronunciations about what will happen to lbj over the course of the next ten years. throw all the variables out the window and forget about who he plays with/where he plays: you've seen enough to know that he won't win anything for the next 10 years.

the reason i am not an idiot is because i wouldn't make a crazy statement like "dwayne wade will never win anything" and respond when people challenge this that "hey, its just my opinion, back off!"

for more on why you are an idiot, read my two responses to your posts above.

also, your "unprecedented hype" thing is a little off.
james is typically regarded as the most lauded player to enter the league since Lual Cinder (Kareem), who became a national sporting hero as a high school player. Wilt Chamberlain also captured the nation's attention as a high school player.

it is difficult to argue that lbj hasn't lived up to his astronomical hype, though, and thats why this isn't really relevent.

Whatever....Obviously, everyone but a select few know that Wade has much better talent surrounding him. Put a Shaquille O' Neal instead of a clumsy Zydrunas Ilgauskas on the Cavs and really see Lebron's career take off.

I'm stating the obvious...true. Yet, what's obvious to some apparently isn't as obvious to others.
Yeah, but would he actually pass to him... LeBron thinks he has 3 point range and will jack them up at times when he's too lazy to drive... D-Wade knows he doesn't and has perfected the 20-footer and will drive even on a bum knee... talent wise and body-wise, I think LeBron has the edge... but whose heart and desire and team mentality would I rather have on my team? I'd take D-Wade in heartbeat

With Kareem/Lew Alcindor and Wilt, they also had at college experience (Kareem at UCLA and Wilt at Kansas, if memory serves). LBJ made the jump directly to the NBA from high school. The hype is deserved. I can't deny it.

pop quiz, hot shot, pistons fans do not give props to Dwade because

    a) He ruined and bukkaked their fatigued team

    b) He should have been a piston but is instead the most clutch player on their cheif rival

At least we can fix a. Flip play the damn bench next season. We have some great players on that bench. Delfino is like a lesser version of a Ginobili. Amir Johnson is a quick athletic forward like Marion. Maxiell can force himself to the paint. Flip needs to change his ways or the window will close fast.

    As for b.

it all depends on the system

i can imagine some teams oriented so that wade would fit better

look at cleveland, they started lebron as a point guard

    now he's sg/sf
    mostly SF right?

on a stacked team oriented with the tools to dominate defensively, would they want a selfish mj-lite that is reluctant to play guard, or the guard they need

but no doubt most teams would pick lebron over wade

they both have equal upside, lebron is just bigger and can play that SF spot

Wade, on the other hand, is a proven winner, and any coach would value this at least nearly as much as lebron's size factor.

    1) he singlehanded took a ty marquette team to the final four

    2) he took a heat team from the doldrums to the second round BY HIMSELF and a little lamar odom help

    3) and he has hit constant clutch shots

lebron has done only the latter, and even had to get a false clutch shot from the refs to get to where he is now (eliminated by pistons in 2nd round)

    lebron > wade

if wade was on the cavs they wouldn't have gotten as far than lebron and the cavs did this year

heat would not have gone that far with lebron

wade would have beaten the pistons

lebron has been in the league how many years now?

You need to double even triple team Lebron to slow him down in a ball game, but no need to do that when play Wade. Let Wade drive to the lane, if you close the lane then he is done. SOMETIMES he can't miss nothing: hits jump shot after jump shot even 3's(like game 3 vs DAL), but you may only see that to be happend once or twice in a series. Lebron is stronger and more creative, and definitely has more triple-double than Wade.

Oh yes, imagine Wade plays in Cavs, he wouldn't do what Lebron could do when he was double, triple teamed.

Lebron is still better than Wade, not by much though.

Its impossible to compare coz of the teams they are on. For starters, Z is no Shaq.

oh, so were going from one game now?

Lebron had one heck of a season and was more superior than Wade. These kinda threads always turn up when haters watch some guy play some good games.

Wade is no Lebron, not yet.

it depends who you have on your team. Melo needs shooters in Denver coz he can cut, hit the J and post up but noone ever hits a shot when he gets it to them.

Sometimes i wish we had drafted Wade over Melo but they are two totally different players and one is 3 years younger. I love the games that both of them play, very different styles of course.

It would have also been a PR nightmare in Denver if they had made the choice to draft Wade over Melo back then.
