Dude do you even watch basketball? The Pistons did the ultimate choke job of their own in that series. The Cavs had their chances and I bet you next year they'll have the Pistons' lunch in some games.

I do watch Basketball and I know that Cavs can't beat Detroit.
Stop looking at the sparkling cherries...it's messing with your mind.

SOME GAMES!! SOME GAMES!! how about betting if Cleveland & Detroit meet again in the playoffs. Detroit would do the same thing.

You cavs fans are a trip!

The Pistons were playing with you! Cleveland had no chance in pulling off an upset. WAKE UP!

I type MAVS in caps because it's my team. Win or lose this series I'll continue to do the same.
Is that how you look at this series also? The mavs are playing with the HEAT? Cleveland had a very good chance of winning that series. They just didn't. Its not the end of the world. They should have won on their home floor, but I knew the second they didn't that the series was over. I didn't expect them to make the finals at the beginning of the season or even hang with the Pistons, so it was a good showing IMO.

Dude I see about 150 games a year BEFORE the playoffs and I see them in person. That series between the Cavs and Pistons was good because the Cavs didn't give up and they played TEAM BALL.

I bet if those two teams do meet again that they the Cavs will beat them. The Cavs are reloading and learning how to play. They almost made the ECF with one super star and role players while the Pistons had four.

If the Pistons were that good, an above average team like the Heat wouldn't have taken them down. The Pistons are a mess dude. Even their fans will tell you that. They screwed up with their bickering.

Cleveland had a chance if they played L. Huhges in the game he returned to the team but, they didn't. They would of won their home game if Lebron would just drive to the basket but, he didn't. It's mistakes like that is why I didn't think Cavs would beat detroit.

And if your team would stop being a jump shooting team you'd go to the free throw line more. They didn't play Hughes that game because he just came back from a funeral.

    Dayum again...is this thing on????

I know Mavs fans are arguing that Dirk didn't foul with 1.9 seconds left.

Maybe Dirk didn't (I can't see from this angle) but someone fouled him

Oh no! But according to Legler, Anthony, and Pippen, no one "affected his shooting hand, so you just hate to see the game end on a play like this"

Personlly, I don't think you have to have played in the league or be on ESPN to realize that D-Wade isn't just going to miss a layup that badly (bounced off backboard) without some kind of influential contact - and this picture proves that Dirk's hand was on his hip and Harris hit his right arm at the elbow

Yeah, I know - i was calling those NBA shootaround guys idiots because anyone can tell that D-Wade had to be affected at least a little on that play... maybe if Mavs moved feet instead of slapping all the time...

I know Detroit is a mess but, we were talking about Cavs & Pistons not Heat & Pistons. YOU NEED TO FOCUS ON THE TOPIC!! Even when they were bickering with themselves they still beat the Cavs.

Please get off the regular season stuff, Cleveland needs to show it in the playoffs.

Now that I gave you my Dumbass reason, you can give me you Stupid ass response. then i'll read it in the morn......Goodnite to you & Missallthat.

And you don't know exactly when the whistle was called with that picture. There's also another view of this picture:

It looks like the ref was calling it on Dirk for the hand on the back. There was contact-no doubt about that..but that's an extremely ticky tack foul to call on the last play-especially since Wade completely straight armed Terry and hooked Josh before getting to the basket. Obviously, the Mavs aren't going to get much sympathy from Spurs fans but it really is a shame that the NBA and its officials have played such a BIG role in determining so much of the outcomes in the playoffs(not just the finals).

Those pictures are obviously taken split seconds apart if just because of position of Harris's hand between the two (above Wade's arm in 1st pic and below it in the 2nd pic) and not to mention the movement of DWade's skin after Harris touches his arm (apparent in second pic) - no doubt that Salvatore called it on the wrong guy, but also I think he may have called it finally on Dirk because from his angle, he assummed that Dirk's swipe made contact in addition to the ticky tack hand in the back...

Hmm..well the original pic could be after Devin hears the whistle called. Either way(Dirk or Harris) it's a tough way to lose a game. Honestly, I don't even think Wade had that great of a game. Played horribly through 3 quarters but hit some big shots in the 4th and OT. Hopefully Dallas can rebound and take the last 2 at home.

You do realize that the Cavs only lost game 6 by 2 points right? The reason they lost that game was because they couldn't grab a defensive rebound to save their lives in the last minute of the 4th. Hughes would have been great to have and probably would have won them the series. It was an unfortunate situation though, and had they grabbed just one rebound in the last minute instead of letting Detroit make 3 attempts to score then finally fouling Chauncey out of desperation, they probably would have won.

Yeah, I know the feeling - Dirk in Game 5 vs. the Suns had an ok first 3 quarters, then goes 9-9 FT in the 4th, hits a few big 3's and has like 24 (i think?) 4 quarter points to end up with 50/12 and Suns lose in 6...

Dayum give the guy credit. He scored over 40 points again and put his team on his back to help win the game.

He became the leader of this team in this series.

Uh not bitter or myopic on views....Wade is a great player and came through in the clutch but he played much much better in game 4. Tonight I thought the Mavs did a much better job of containing him until the 4th. He's clearly the best player in the series right now but the Mavs have given away 2 games in the finals and clearly choked under pressure. I had problems with the officiating in a big way tonight but don't really feel like arguing with some of you for days on end. I'm sure it's easy label all Mavs fans as trolls or stupid..but alot of us aren't...I'm a pretty realistic fan. We gave away a ton of opportunities tonight, Wade came through in the clutch(doesn't really mean he had a great game though..if he had played like he had in the 4th the Mavs would have lost by 10 or more) and I WISH Dirk would come through in the same way, and we weren't helped by the questionable calls. If this makes me stupid or a homer then go ahead and call me a troll..but I notice no matter what I say or how respectful I am of this site and the posters there's some of you who only see the Mavericks underneath my name.

Nice pic, now quit your whinning Mav es!!! He was obviously fouled, whether or not it was called on the right person, so STFU. Instead of ing about the refs, maybe AJ should try and figure out a way to try and contain DWade. All his politicing to the media is getting really old. Heat in 6.

I don't want to see any whining from Mavs fans...the Mavs shouldn't be in the spot they're in and it's NOT because of the officiating...

Mavs still win the last 2 games...the Heat can't win in Dallas.
