You don't have to be a big fat guy to rebound. You don't even have to be the strongest guy. This guy has a knack for the ball (rebounds).
When Mahmini hits age 21 or so, he'll start bulking up rather quickly. Let him spend time developing his basketball skills now. It would be a stupid waste of a top prospect to bring him over early as a stopgap frontline solution.
This kid will be the starting center for the Spurs for a long time.
