Um... No. Grand Rapids is on the other side of the lower penninsula, almost to Lake Michigan. It is about a 2-1/2 hour drive west from Detroit.

Okay Pistons Fans, I'm thinking of opening up a Pistons board that will be a sub forum of Spurstalk but could also be reached from it's own URL.
IF this happened, would you post here more often? How many posters do you think would post regularly? Like how many do you think would be online normally during the day?
I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it.
I would imagine there'd be a lot of Pistons fans posting. There seems to be a lot of us now and most post everyday. I would probly post more.
RedLion would post more as well I would assume

I dont know, Kori. There are enough of us, but are there enough other people to keep it alive long term.
So, that would be my take on it.
BTW, Grand Rapids is by far the coolest city in Michigan I have ever been to.
I hadnt been there since I was a child until 2 years ago.
Its exactly what Detroit should be. Beautiful. Clean. Fun. Safe.
Having a subforum for the Pistons would be great. As long as it got the type of traffic from Spurs fans that this NBA section does, I think the boards would work out fine. However, if Spurs fans don't visit much and its limited to just Piston fans, it may struggle at times. So basically, if you're going to do it, put it where its easily visible - right next to Spurs Talk and Around the NBA.

There are 2 Heat fans, and one of them is a total troll. So that makes what, 1 Heat fan.
They are nine Heat fans in all on the board.
9 isn't close to enough. There's around 50 Pistons fans, that's why it's under consideration.

I would think that all Piston fans posting here would post regularly in a sub forum. I also imagine it would start off slowly, similarly to the way spurstalk
did, and hopefully pick up momemtum the same way.
