The best place I found is myfantasyleague.com
I don't see any setting for that. Weird.
Let me investigate.
As for this league (the keeper one), we are trying to put it on a software that's good for dynasty/keeper teams. Do you play on any others?
Hmm, if you have a dummy Yahoo account, maybe you can sign up and see what I saw (and then drop the registration).
Regarding dynasty/keeper teams, myfantasyleague.com is the de facto standard (actually, perhaps CBS is, but I'm familiar with CBS only through the basketball leagues). XPerts supports keeper/dynasty leagues too, but my familiarity with them is as rusty as yours.
I play in 3 other dynasty leagues at MFL, and it's rock-solid and very feature rich. The only draw back is the interface is old-school html, but it is customizable and can be made to look decent.
I'll have to look this up, but I think myfantasyleague has PC-based software available. If so, I assume it would be at a fraction of the cost for hosting a league year after year.
I set it up on myfantasyleague.com already (without paying yet).
I'll message you the login and you can look around and see if there's other stuff I need to set up.
Sounds good, though I might not look it over thoroghly until this weekend.
Here's a link to the league/team I drafted last year, in case you want to get a feel for how an established league might look. I'm proud of this team!

Sorry for not voting....I have been out of town on a business trip.
PPR - NO
Flex - NO (just 3 WRs)
So we aren't going to have a Salary cap like some dynasty leagues? I have been in one before and that was a lot of fun and kept a lot of parity in the league.
Also, we did heads up matches every week where you the following took place:
Team A vs. Team B:
Team A's Offense - Team B's Defense = [Team A score]
Team B's Offense - Team A's Defense = [Team B score]
That determined winner and loser for that matchup. Next week, you played someone else on the schedule. Is that how we are doing it - it's a little unclear with the allowed points feature.
You can take the player out of Yahoo, but you can't take the Yahoo out of the player.
I look forward to the seeing the draft order set.
Kori,
I would like to thank you for setting us up with that site. It's got 1000s of features, very organized, and I can figure everything out just by looking around.
Nice job organizing the league :thumbsup
Just to make sure I am represented, my votes no ppr, no flex, and no college
PS And Guru you're taking a large step assuming you're the one that will keep six players :compe ive
It would be a large step if I assumed I knew WTF you were talking about.
So these are the rules. I adjusted the amount of keepers (a little). The votes were 8-4 against PPR and againist Flex, so the player positions stay the same. There will be one college player drafted. And keeper status will be retained in trades.
Waivers will be processed on Wednesday morning at 9am each week. I paid $89.95 for the league software. If you'd like to contribute to that, please do.
LINEUPS
12 teams.
Each team will be made up of 22 players.
Each week you will activate 9 players: 1 QB, 3 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, 1 DEF, 1 K.
INITIAL DRAFT
Initial year draft order will be randomized.
Initial draft will be serpentine (1-12,12-1,1-12, etc)

FUTURE DRAFTS/KEEPERS

3rd place: 10 players

Teams must name protected players prior to July 15.

Nevermind, you didn't catch that one.

So are we drafting college players? If so, how many and is there a seperate draft or will they be one of the 22 players allowed on a team?
So one round after the regular draft is over. I'll figure out how we'll work it.
Alright. Then it'll be like the Dynasty Basketball d-league draft. If you were last in the 1st round of the NFL one then you will be 1st in the College one.
Not that I had a preference either way, but I thought the college player pick came amid the regular draft. I guess I won't be drafting Adrian Peterson in round 3.
Hot damn!.........I like that idea GoN!
Can we put to a vote if we can at anytime during the draft select a collegiate player?
I'm all for it, but, I don't think the draft software supports it; and Kori would have to bill us at an exorbitantly high hourly rate to accommodate this, now that I think this through.
If you want the Man of Glass he is all yours GoN.
I for one hope he does shed his FRAGILE tag, he has lots of potential but so far, AP hasn't led ouSELESS to any National Championship.
AP was a "for instance." I have other players in mind.
It might. I will look into it and figure it out.
I think we should do it like the D-League. So us people at the bottom of the nfl draft have a chance at a solid college player.
