Sac has 300 some odd straight sellouts..... not to mention we never boo anyone
sellouts are misleading statistic, wattabout the ppl that fill up the chairs in the stadium.

did they subtract the season ticket holders who dont turn up to games?

Lots of different potential definitions for "best fans".

The major problem with Spur fans is in the actual stadium, where they have a tendancy to sit on their hands if things aren't going their way instead of really getting into the game. Spur fans from the late 70s early 80s, while they didn't always fill the house, were about the most raucous I've ever seen.

Celtic fans, as much as I hate them, and Sixer and Knick fans knew how/when to get into a game and fire up their team before there were Jumbotrons or mascots or stupid PA announcers.

Portland fans during their heyday were probably the best ever, but somehow the Jailblazers managed to screw up an unscrewable situation.

Laker fans are a joke by and large. If the Lakers went through a dry spell like the Knicks and Celtics are going through the Staples would be half-full.
That's no lie, Blazer fans were the best I've ever seen. I really don't know about today though.

Detroit has more than one pro franchise?

    Huh?

I don't even get the joke ... specially from a Spurs fans, with the lack of any other pro action in San Antonio, unless you consider professional rodeos.

Mid to late 1980s Portland fans were craaaaaazy. The Rose Garden was like the hardest place to play for a long time. They were definitely great fans until the jailblazers ripped their hearts and embarrassed their city.

that why the maloofs are working so damn hard to keep the team in sacramento? they have had plenty of opportunities to move the team but they dont want to unless the people in sacto vote no on november 7th. know what the you are talking about before you post, thanks.

the spurs fans and kings fans are the absolute best, its not even close. the blazers used to be up there but they really suck now so there isnt much for them to yell and scream about, unless they are swearing at there telivision sets while watching the blazers lose over and over again.

Knicks, Pacers, Pistons probably have the best fans for larger market teams. As far as small market teams I would have to say that the Spurs and Kings are at the top. Overall it is too hard to pick the best, way too subjective.
Pacers is not a big market team man.

Any franchise that has success is going to enjoy a decent fan base. I think the best fans would probably be ones that are completely loyal even when the team is not so good. That would eliminate the Miami Heat fans and LA Laker fans.

I would maybe go with the Indiana Pacers fans. Now, being a Pistons fan, that's not easy to say. But, they are pretty loyal to the franchise despite everything that has happened the last two years, they are relatively knowledgeable as a whole, and quite frankly, there isn't much else going on in Indianapolis besides them and the Colts so they're going to continue to support the Pacers win or lose.

I would probably say Sacramento fans would be next on the list. And, for the most part, Spurs fans are great as well. And, everything that the Clippers fandom has endured, they deserve some credit.

    Thanks appreciate it.

Detroit has some of the craziest and most volatile fans in the NBA, but that's not a good thing, as we've seen. But, if we were talking about fanaticism, I would mention Pistons fans and Knicks fans as well.

Which team has the best home-court advantage?
    Sacramento Kings 46.2%
    San Antonio Spurs 19.2%
    Denver Nuggets 17.3%
Others receiving votes: Detroit, Miami, New York, Utah

HCA != "best fans". Denver's perceived HCA is no doubt due to the al ude.

I don't know why the Spurs would have the second-best HCA.
