I don't mind half as much that the station doesn't have the game.. just don't tell people you are going to air it when you're not.

Right now it is ARG 17 - 14 TUR And one free throw for Argentina
The game is blocked to this area on Media zone.

yeah, I'd understand that most Americans, other than hard core basketball fans, wouldn't be interested in the non U.S. games, even their potential opponents...but to list them and then pull them from the schedule is just ing LAME.....hvala for the update Slo 8

But wouldn't they be listing it based on the info they get from the network? All I know is, it said there would be a basketball game on the guide when I went to bed last night. Now it says Mike and Mike. Lame.

I guess not. Because the ESPN guide has it correct now and has had it right all along.
For example, the ESPN guide lists FIBA Basketball (USA game) being aired tomorrow morning at 5:30am, but my DirecTV guide does not.
On my regular time warner channel 98 t.v. guide it still says World Championship basketball is what is on.
After game today where Spain was dominating i would say that if Argentina win today they probably wont beat Spain if they will play like today and before....

I know that NBA.com had 8th Finals listed on ESPN2 and stuff for a while. Ah, well someone screwed up, or ESPN confirmed and updated their airings before the real games even started or whatever. We still have to suffer at the hands of miscommunication!!

On the NBA site, it lists a game on ESPN right now in their original schedule, but not in the side bar, although it does still say that they'll replay the game at 3pm CST.
I bet the whole incorrect listing was a ploy by ESPN to boost the Mike's ratings.
I know I only tuned into their show because I was expecting that the basketball game was about to come on.
Yeah I know. The only place I've seen the games listed as they've aired is on that online ESPN guide. Everywhere else from NBA.com to guides on my TV have had it way off.
I don't know why they didn't all just input it from ESPN.

Whatever the case is with the WC games, the cable networks are probably are proabably guessing that the United States game is going to be shown in that time slot. Then when they realize it's not, they replace it with Bash Fishing.

Argentina play good defense so Turkey have a lot of problems in offensive end...
