IMHO it is very American to and our right to do so.
It is downright idiotic to think that there cannot be too many tribute videos and other cheapenings of what happend on 9/11. The only tribute that is truely needed is the memory of how you felt that day. At some point these tributes become really cheap.
I have not watched the video in this thread and my comments are not directed at it. I just find the idea that being against these things at some point somehow puts you on par with the terrorists really idiotic.
if anything it was a slippery slope argument that went out of hand.
To take everything for face value would be idiotic as well.

Why would Bin Laden think there are too many tribute videos? If anything, he would think that there are not enough videos to remind us of that day, to remind us of the fear and terror he caused. Isn't that the point of terrorism, to instill fear as a means to achieve your desired end result? What's more fearful than constant reminder?
Most of these videos are made by self-important people and are lame. A few are touching. To each their own on whether to watch them or not.
