There is a need for court precedent to be made here. There has to be a line drawn between online speech that is merely offensive and sop ric, and speech that is defamatory and abusive.
The latter is disruptive to the classroom environment.
Teens know they can run amock on the internet and get away with it so they do. Tough for teachers.
