Colt McCoy, what mutha as
good play.
oh well. Looks like Texas will win.
But it was still hilarious to watch Tech drop 512 passing yards on them!!!
calm down dumb ass.
No thanks.
Tech should be kicking itself. This was absolutely the Red Raiders' game to win.
Tech let Texas off the mat and then they squandered their 2nd half opportunities with stupid mistakes.
Tech 0 pts in the 2nd half
Texas 14 Tech 0... 2nd half
Tech had their chances; they just didn't convert. Like I say -- it was the Red Raiders' game to win. They didn't get it done.
Haha, Pistons you come and talk trash on a sports board from Texas and you gotta expect that. I'm sure everyone wanted to tell you that.
Another W for the Horns. I lost some vBookie, but I'm content![]()
i'm really tired of some ut games not being aired in austin unless they're on PPV. i prefer the radio call for the game but how can they not televise a game like this?
I didn't. But I'm not a UT alumnus . . . . or a Longhorn fan.
Nah, it's always better when some people go against you in these things - makes it more interesting. When you're Texas and people who like teams that aren't even in your conference hate you - you know you're a bad ass. That probably stems from the '04 Rose Bowl VY put on Michigan.
I know we're good enough to completely play like defensively on the road, spot Tech a 21 pt. lead and 1 quarter head start, have our damn RB lose three fumbles - and still win... but we don't have to keep proving this . Tech is still like the little brother you give a head start to before blowing him away in the end, but we shouldn't play around with them like that... it almost bit us.
I am in San Marcos and I watched it. It was on TBS.
doh, football wasn't on that station for years, i keep forgetting they are showing games. then again, i can listen to the game while my daughter watches sesame street before bed.![]()
Oh I agree with you. That's why I didn't say anything. There's nothing better than being a sports fan whose a UT alum from San Antonio. Your teams just win.
is osu the only spead offense left on the schedule? that game will probably be a roller coaster again too. hopefully not as much full out blitzing in the first half again, tt qb seemed to hit every hot read when ut did.
We've dominated a better run Spread offense in the past, but our D personnel were healthy and not backups. This game really worried me because of the fact that Beasely and Palmer would see ANY time as well as Ross, Brown, and the Griffins being banged up. What I wouldn't have given for a healthy Ross and Brown along with Cedric Griffin and Michael Huff in this game. Those were the days...
OSU game is worrying me now because it's on TBS and because of the way we have played in the 1st half the last two years. At least it's in Austin.
Palmer made some huge plays tonight.
2 straight weeks UT has not looked like a top 10 team. I'm guessing they dominate the rest of their schedule and solidify their ranking though. However, I predict Notre Dame will be ranked higher in the BCS this week, deservingly or not.
