You can take what you maintain and shove it up your ass Manny. It's ineffective for you...but it's not for me. Maybe I'm not like you and out to put my voice in everything....I'm not out to change the world, but I'm not out to ruin it either.
great, he made a statement loud and clear.
If you want to call it making a statement then by all menas, feel free.
I just maintain that it's a rather ineffective method of speaking out.

Apathy. You lazy apathetic . I ing dispise people like you at moments like this. Especially when I hear stories about people waiting for 9 ing hours to vote. Or even the people I saw wait in line here for 3 hours during early voting.
You're not out to do . Yet you'll sit there and about things. Well off, you've invalidated yourself.
What have I ed about? Gay marriage? That's one thing...and that has nothing to do with the President or a vote that I could have cast on the ballot here.
Just because you're a disillusioned who voted for the losing party doesn't mean you have to take it out on people who don't vote. You don't even give a if I voted...the only thing you probably wanted me to vote for is for somebody you support.
Hey, why don't you make another statement here and not post as well? Isn't that your style???
Here's my statement..Stop being a sore loser Manny....................I'M OUT!!!!
Hey man, I'll stop being a sore loser as long as everytime you mention anything SLIGHTLY political, you end it with "I didn't vote"
Bush is an idiot...but I didn't vote for him...so it's not my problem.
He is the leader of your country, doesn't that make him your problem?
Duff simply couldn't find the answer in a beattles song and figured it wasn't worth answering if they didn't address it. I understand Duffmiester.
Sour grapes Manny....I may not have found the answer...but you found one...and it was the WRONG one.
This is not a shocker. Youth is all about being trendy, and when it comes down to it, most of the trend was that it was cool to register and say you were, but when it came time to actually get off the couch and go vote, they said screw it.
So as an American, you don't think the actions of your leader and government concern you?No.
Actually musicians/actors/entertainers that try to preach to go vote make me sick. I don't bash them for doing it...but damn...I'm gonna vote because I want to....not because you tell me to.
Sure they concern me...nobody wants to see nuclear war here...but at the same time what am I gonna do? Cry about it?
You can criticise the President all you want(not saying you are doing it) but when it comes down to it, your criticism isn't gonna stop him from doing...whatever it is he is doing.
Ha, if you mean that because the majority of Americans said it was the wrong one, then what does that say about gay marriage? Because you know, that the majority of americans feel thats wrong?
AHF, I think you're right. I think I spent so much time around people who listened to NPR rather than watch the OC that I forgot that the majority of my age group is too busy calling in American Idol votes to go to the polls.
Don't cry about, try and do something to change it. You are right...criticisizing or praising him won't do anything about it...voting for or against him would.
Not in Texas.
So you would rather give up than try?
So ing shortsighted. Had more people gone out in voted in states where they felt as though they didn't count, we might have swayed the popular vote. Having a president win a consecutive time while losing the popular vote would have gone a long way torwards electoral reform.
Didn't count my ass..it's not as if Texas is a swing state. There's no way in Kerry would have EVER won Texas.
61-38....come on now.
still...if you believe that the in bent should go...you should vote. Too many people fought and died for that right. You are a coward and are dismissing their sacrifice.
ARE YOU SO DENSE TO UNDERSTAND THAT IT WASN'T ABOUT WINNING THE STATE IS WAS ABOUT GETTING THE POPULAR VOTE.
Nevermind Duff, Nevermind. Go put on Rubber Soul. I'm tired of banging my ing head up against the wall.
So in your mind it wasn't about winning...it was about changing the whole system? Who are you? Ralph Nader?
Speaking of popular vote...Bush had the highest popular vote since 88....so what about that?
