What movie should we go see?

I thought it was pretty good, although some of the hairstyles seemed more early 60s than they were early 70s.

I haven't decided whether I want to spend $$ on that yet. If I keep hearing good reviews, I might go.

The problem is that it strikes me as one of those movies that, based on the previews, you already can predict every cliched plot detail and heavy-handed emotional manipulation. And Matthew McConahahahgy seems waay too insufferably earnest.
