He wants to bench him for James White
Remember Kori, this is the same James White Rick Carlisle was crying over in the press conference when the Indiana Pacers were forced to cut.

Are you a joke? You realize that you are complaining about a 3-point shooter missing half his shots. If a player missed only 1/2 their 3-point shots, they'd lead the league in 3-point field goal percentage.
    who hoo

The same guy that couldn't make the Pacer's mediocre roster?

    Riiiggghhhttttt

    Defense wins championships.

Without D, your just the Suns winning meaningless games.

    Learn it, live it.

Quit trying to be a stooge trying to turn this team into what its not.

    A high powered offense.

    Teams win rings on DEFENSE.

Not putting 22 year old D Leaguers in there.

    Wake up.

This is the same defense that has trouble winning back-to-back championships.

They weren't forced to cut him, they could have cut someone else.

I think James White will be good in a few years. Right now he's in Austin where he belongs, learning how to play D. Like the coaching staff said this week, they don't really care what he is doing offensively. He needs to play D to get playing time on the Spurs.

If they had that much high hopes in James don't you think they would have cut someone else?

Supposedly they were content with what they had, yet they have trouble getting to the NBA Finals.

This is the same defense that has WON, championships BOZO.

    ARE YOU KIDDDING ME?!!?

How do you think the Spurs won in 99? uh, not the high flying 120 point a night offense coming from Jaren Jackson and Mario Elie.

    02 03?

Prob the most well rounded offensive team, but holding a team 9 points in a 4th quarter like the Mavericks in a game 6 of the WF? THAT, is what won the ring that year.

    04 05?

It was defense all by itsself.

Thats how they won in the 4th quarter of game 7.

    No question.

    Get a clue.

yet they have trouble getting to the NBA Finals.
The Pacers can't get there because they are a loser organization.

That, and they don't have a mantra commited to D, like Pop's coaching staff does.

The media doesn't give SA the props they deserve because they don't repeat. Who do you think they remember the most? Lakers Dynasty, Bull Dynasty, or the Spurs Dynasty.

the 2000's will always belong to the lakers unless the spurs can get 2 more rings this decade

Exactly. The Spurs may win one every odd year but the NBA history will never give the Spurs organization their due because of their inability to repeat.

So if Duncan retires in 6 years, and they have 6 championships total.

    Thats a failure?

Who the counts the ABA era? By the way Duncan is not responsible for winning the 6 championships, 3 championships, but not 6.

IF the Spurs keep playing like this in the postseason, the Spurs chances of winning a championship are slim. We'll be the "whining" Dallas Mavericks of last year.
