I heard it for the first time a couple of days ago (I've given up on trying to be cool) and my reaction was very similar to yours.

On the same show they also showed the new Gwen Stefani video and it sucks except for how they integrated the "sound of music" part into the beat - it amuses me (they are bombarding us with Ally McBeal re-runs over here)
