FYI...UFC.com is probably the LAST place to go for your UFC news and rumor'd matchups. That's the last place that will show the info usually. The only things worth a damn there are pre and post fight interviews, pictures, and the weigh-in video. They're doing good if they have a picture for each fighter...
Oh yea...![]()
If I were a betting man, I'd bet the house on that fight. You know Babalu has something to prove after his embarrassing le bout vs. Chuck.
Have to see what the odds are for Babalu...
I'd bet the farm right now on Tim Sylvia at -250 or so...I bet the odds get worse as it gets closer. I just don't see how Randy has a chance...
i think randy has a better chance then monson did, better stand up then monson and he can finish fights
mcdonald-franklin will be great. im glad we will get to see hamill back again. last time he fought he sucked. barely won. he better bring some stand up.
Undercard Bouts Added to UFC 68By Thomas Gerbasi
A mix of seasoned veterans, up and coming prospects, and Octagon newcomers will comprise the undercard of UFC 68: The Uprising, which will take place at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio on Saturday, March 3rd.
In the main event, Tim Sylvia defends his UFC Heavyweight le against former two-time champion Randy Couture. Also featured will be the returns of former UFC middleweight champion Rich Franklin (who takes on Jason MacDonald) and former UFC Welterweight king Matt Hughes (who will battle Chris Lytle).
Rounding out the pay-per-view portion of the card will be an intriguing light heavyweight matchup between Jason Lambert and former world le challenger Renato ‘Babalu’ Sobral and a middleweight clash between 185-pound bangers Martin Kampmann and Drew McFedries.
In preliminary contests, welterweight contenders Jon Fitch and Luigi Fioravanti square off, TUF3 light heavyweight Matt Hamill takes on former national wrestling champion and UFC debutant Rex Holman, and lightweights Jason Dent and Jamie Varner look to move up the 155-pound ladder when they face off in bouts against Gleison Tibau and Jason Gilliam, respectively.
Fitch/Fioravanti ought to be a decent fight.
I was onboard the Hamill bandwagon prior to his fight with Petruzelli, but he was a DIRTY mofo in that fight. Rubbing his fingers and elbows in cuts and basically doing nothing but lay on Seth. Terrible fight...he needs a lot of work...and he probably needs a loss...
Fitch is probably the best fighter in the UFC that most don't know...poor guy just can't get on live!!
