Cuban is hot...I'd fry my eggs on his greasy ass any day...with or without the comb-forward.![]()
His act is old and tired, and essentially closed last summer when his team got hammer ed by a mediocre Miami squad that spotted them a couple of games. The whole "Cuban as rebel" shtick was fresh...like 7 years ago.

How 'bout " Went to New York got a ring, went to New Jersey got a ring, went to Detroit got a ring.... Then on the back " Dallas went to Miami and got Nowitzkied"
Pac-smack.
Ouch.
How about we make a shirt that says " I went to Dallas and stepped in a pile of . All I got was Mark Cuban on my shoe".
"The Mavs should do like the Chaparrals and move outta Dallas"
You are too good at those!![]()

Talk about the Spurs or their players...that is what you do in a rivalry....taking shots at the city is IMO crossing the line and doesn't belong in a basketball rivalry.
In a rivalry, you don't make it about the players. Players move on or retire, you have to talk about the things that don't change. You have to talk about the city.
There are rare cases where it can become about the player, but those don't last. You need only look at the Pacers and Knicks. Does anyone care about them anymore sense Miller retired? No. Because it was based on the player and not the team.
With the Mavs, you could have said four years ago that you hate the Mavs because of Nash and Finley, but where would your hatred be now ... It has to be about the two teams and cities and not the players.
Cuban has probably said something about every Spurs player, but the comment that this and other threads were all about ... The one that the paying FANS care most about is the one about the city.
That's how you get a rivalry to become must see TV. Fans of basketball will now tune into the next meeting of the Mavs and Spurs not just to see a great basketball game, but to see what Cuban wears, to see what the fan banners say.
Its all about the money, to say that he is stupid because he wants to make money in one of his businesses is just crazy, to say that his strategy with the Spurs isn't working that magic is ignoring the truth as evidenced by this thread.
"At least the crappy river knows how it feels to celebrate a championship"
This is the best one, and the one (If made) most likely to get air time in the crowd
I disagree...you talk about the teams...regardless of who is on them. You don't make it personal, it should always be about basketball. In a rivalry, you don't make it about the players. Players move on or retire, you have to talk about the things that don't change. You have to talk about the city.
To quote many on this site...City smack is weak.
Just my .02.
