That's sweet.
So, do we have Kori, Timvp or MelMart as the Commish? Or someone else?
you be the commish. you set the whole thing up.
I can still set it up and have a vote on the type formation. You can change everything before the draft.
ok. what website and how much?
take a look at mlb.com. it looks good.
can you pm us the name of the league and the password so we can join?
Uhh, I'm really not down with being the commish.![]()
Let me ask all of you, who would want to be commish?
I Mel has PM'd me like 20 times saying I should nominate her so I just did!![]()
I know Timvp has said that Kori could do it too.
Any of you as Commish I'd roll with no prob.
Yeah, is Yahoo cool with everyone? I'm cool with any site really.
$25 cool with everyone?
The only things I'd rather have than not have are:
1) I want Head to Head
2) I want a snake draft, NO Salary Cap
3) I want a weekly setting of the lineups and not going in everyday to update or change it.
perfect. get one of them to set it up. let mel commish if he wants too. tell him to do everything you just said.
Mel be a chica.
I prefer yahoo as well..
so how does a roster usually set up.
5 outfielders and what, how pany pitchers, infielders and what not?
This will be my first time playing fantasy baseball.
Usually 3 OF's, all your infield positions, 2 starting pitchers, 2 relief pitchers, and 3 more pitchers (either SP or RP)..At least that is how I have played in the past..rosters usually run from 18-20 players
I'll set up the league, be the commish, handle the money, etc since I'm not going to play.
Give me some general guidelines and I'll set up a league on Yahoo as soon as y'all are ready.
Whatever it is Kori, just take it out of my FF winnings kitty![]()

Just get it done Kori.
I don't want to have to say it again.![]()

WTF!?! I haven't visited this thread in like a week and all the sudden I am PMing Dio to be commish? You ing liar! I have never PMed Dio in my life.
Kori as commish works for me. I have no idea what a snake draft is and I have never played head-to-head but I will go on Yahoo and look it up and learn before draft time.
So do we have 12 people now? I know there were a lot of 'maybes' and stuff, but now that we know who the commish is, how much, what site, etc now is the time for peeps to or get off the pot. I am in, definitely.
Melly,
A snake draft is a draft in which the order alternates each round.
For instance:
Round 1: A, B, C, D
Round 2: D, C, B, A
Round 3: A, B, C, D
And so on...
To tell you the truth, I would love to try MLB.com.

Do you know people who have played there. Is their draft software reliable like Yahoo? Why do you want to play there if you can't customize the settings? To tell you the truth, I would love to try MLB.com.![]()
Thanks for that, JB. I guess I assumed that that was how all drafts worked. I have always selected that way and like it.
As for MLB, I am game for whatever, but I guess we have to get concensus. I don't like the idea of not being able to make changes daily in case of injury. I had always played where you could set them for up to a week at a time but had the option of going in daily and making an adjustment. But if that isn't possible it's cool. Makes it more interesting--as long as you aren't the one with an injury.
