This is a more complete team than the one that had Q-choke-Rich and Joe Johnson out for half the series... first game Joe comes back, they win and he's the leading scorer... and hopefully, Marion wouldn't only average 7 points for the whole series because Bowen was able to focus only on him when JJ was out.

Still, they had a chance if they didn't themselves by losing at home 3 times... especially when they had game 5 in their grasp until the last 2 mins.

Kenyon Martin (Denver Nuggets) and Juwann McClellan (Arizona Wildcats) would beg to differ. Each undwent microfracture, put in the rehab time, worked their way back into playing shape, suited up and suffered setbacks that will likely cost each their season.

It's not a science yet. It's still very hit or miss.

the suns and amare had the good sense to shut him down last season after his initial comeback too. i don't know much about Juwann but Kenyon seems to just have bad luck dating back to college as far as injuries go.
