Who would you take over him if the draft was done over today? By my count, he'd go fifth.

Only reason Marion got in is because the game was in Vegas. You know roster spots are doled out for sentimental reasons that have nothing to do with basketball, and furthemore, there's not enough roster spots anyway for the Game in order to accomodate all worthy players. Josh deserved to go this year, end of story. As long as there's only 12 roster spots, there's going to be 3-4 guys shafted every year.

actually I think it has earned him 1 or 2. Probably just one, but I was at the game when it happened. He got called for a obvious foul and he gave the bug eye look, boom he was teed up. I can't remember which ref it was.
I would agree with that, E ially about Marion. Supposedly he is very sensitive about getting as much credit as everyone else on his team, including nash.

I think the Refs should try their hardest to make a distinction between someone reacting emotionally or gennuienly to a call or just trying to for the sake of ing. Following the refs after a call and complaining , or stopping to say somthing to them while the game is still going should warrant a tech. a show of frustation on a dead ball should be let go.
The Mavs organization are ing drama queens. Everything turns into a conspiracy or "someone's out to get me" argument. News flash: No one ing cares about your best record in the NBA enough to intentionally injure one of your players. No one is out to get you. Sheesh.
