I love it up there...the River, the drive between Leakey and Camp Wood, eating at the Cafe, Alto Frio...
it's just algae/moss on the rocks where the current is much slower. the water itself is crystal clear.
that water is coming straight from the hills. it's about as clean as can get.
The place we go to has springs bubbling up EVERYwhere. The coolest, cleanest water you've ever seen.

Where we go is right where the West Frio merges with the East Frio so I like to think we get a little less piss than those further down
