And shooting motion relates to... what exactly? Does he make it or not? Either it is a completely valid point or a completely stupid arguement, which it is.

    FT Percentage - 66%

    Career 3Pt% - 26%

Both of those are lower than probably 95% of the players you mentioned above.

FG percentage doesn't matter when your team only lets you shoot layups and dunks and Byron Scott will bench you if you shoot a 3 pointer - which probably explains why he's taken 0 this season for the first time in his career.

    Those are the facts, asshole.
3pt%??? You are a smart one. D Mase has taken 66 3 pointers in his career.

So now it is who DESERVED to be a Top 10 pick.

Did Manu deserve to be a Top 10 pick? Was he?

Did Darko deserve to be a Top 10 pick?

Wow, boy, you need more syrup for all your waffles.
Has an OSU basketball player amounted to anything?

Your hypocrisy is getting the best of you - I remember you started this about 3 months ago with "RPI," then with "Winthrop???," then with "act like you've been there," then with "scoreboard," and now with a sarcastic comment about Acie Law and the Aggies.

Then, out of nowhere, you say that I'm digging on other teams because I have nothing to say for myself.

Then you used a terrible statistic about Desmond Mason that had nothing to do with what I was talking about (by the way, it was his terrible shooting motion).

In fact, I wouldn't want Acie Law to go in the Top 10 because he would go to a crappy team that doesn't deserve him.

    1. OSU has 3 curent NBA starters. And, yeah, John Starts was pretty decent.
    2. Again you waffle... you say I constantly say how they are the greatest... and refuse to address that issue when proven wrong.
    3. Your insecurity is so strong you can't answer for yourself without trying to make someone else feel bad. Boy it sure sucks when everyone is dogging on your team, doesn't it?
    4. I was making the point of you saying something completely stupid and irrelevant about Mason's shooting motion that would make him a bad player, when bad players don't hang around and start for as long as he has in the NBA.

FG%???? You are a dumb one. You brought it up and wanted facts, suker, so I gave them to you.

What RM said: "Mason has a terrible shooting motion."

What CaptMike said: "I'm going to ignore the incredibly accurate opinion of my little D Mase and throw in some stats that he shoots a higher % than a lot of perimeter oriented-players."

What RM said: "Ok, you want to compare a guy who spends most of his time within 12 feet of the basket to a lot of shooting guards, point guards, and perimeter small forwards, so how about I readdress that he has a terrible shot and provide you with 3-point % and FT% to prove my point."

CaptMike: "OMG!!! He's only taken 66 3pointers ever!!! I thought we were talking about his shooting motion on dunks and layps!!! Coach Sutton must have been drunk when he taught him to shoot a FT!!! You are a smart one!!! I still don't realize that you were talking ABOUT HOW POORLY DESMOND MASON CAN SHOOT THE BASKETBALL, so I'm going to act like I'm superior to you once again and make myself look like a jackass by bringing up another irrelevant stat, but my partner in crime 1369 will probably come to my defense because, after-all, Bryant Reeves was the #6 pick in the NBA draft and is probably the NBA equivalent of Brian Bosworth!!!"

    Still looking for OSU
The Student Guide to America's 100 Best College Buys says the nation's best college value is right here in Oklahoma. Oklahoma Governor Frank Keating and Oklahoma State University President James Halligan announced the selection of OSU as America's Best College Buy at a Wednesday news conference in Oklahoma City.

OSU is the first university in America to achieve the first-place distinction, according to Lewis T. Lindsey, Jr., senior editor of the Student Guide Series. The selection was based on excellence in academic programs, low student-faculty ratios, a highly qualified faculty, high student ACT scores and low cost.

Keating said the honor underscores Oklahoma's commitment to holding down the costs of higher education while investing in quality in the classroom.
Halligan said the selection of OSU students as Rhodes Scholars, Truman Scholars and Fulbright Scholars confirms OSU's Best Buy designation.

"When OSU students prevail in national compe ion against students elsewhere who are paying ten-times the tuition, I believe we redefine both value and excellence in higher education," said Halligan.

Lindsey said OSU was selected after an annual national survey by Ins utional Research and Evaluation, Inc.

OSU was among the 100 Best Buys last year and was selected for the number-one spot this year for several reasons, Lindsey said.
    * The high school grade point average for OSU's entering freshmen class in the fall was at least 10 percent above the national average. (OSU freshmen had an average high school GPA of 3.46 compared to 3.07 nationally.)
    * OSU's entering freshman class for the fall had an ACT score at least two composite levels above the national average. (OSU's ACT average was 24 compared to 21 nationally.)
    * More than 92 percent of the OSU faculty who teach undergraduate classes have a Ph.D. or other terminal degree.
    * OSU has a 15-to-1 student-to-faculty ratio. To qualify for the top 100 Best Buys, ins utions must have a ratio no higher than 20/1.
    * Yearly cost of attendance for out-of-state residents was at least 10 percent below the national average. OSU charges out-of-state students $5,768 a year for tuition. In-state students pay $1,748.

Lindsey said the annual report encourages students to shop around for the college or university which offers the highest level of excellence at the lowest possible cost. No college or university paid to be presented in the book.

Several other prestigious ins utions were included in this year's top 100 Best Buys. They included Texas A&M University, the University of Tennessee, Clemson University, the University of Kansas and the University of Florida.

Yes, they do - that's why Scot Pollard has made more money in his career than Clyde Drexler ever did.... and is now getting paid $8 million this year to sit on the bench and tell kids to do drugs.

Again, you ragged on Acie, the Aggies, and the Aggie fans long before I ever got into this discussion.

No you don't. You looked at Mason's FG% (which at 44% is not that impressive) and compared him to people that play a completely different game and position than he does.

So then I brought up real facts (aka FT% which is important and relevant because he's a player that attacks the rim and completely relates to my original comment of him having a terrible shot), and you prove that you can't read and really aren't better than anyone.

His terrible 3-point numbers were just icing on the cake.

More facts: Eddie Sutton was arrested and convicted of drunk driving.

Sean Sutton is suspected of drunk driving OSU's season into the ground.

My point was that neither of ya'll can keep up a true and valued conversation of the point in question even when 2 seperate non partisan parties both smack you down. Please try to spin this thread another way. How many baseball players in the MLB does atm have? How many olympians has atm had? How many NFL Hall of Famers does atm have?

I think you'll find OSU leads in all those categories, so maybe that's not the way for you to go.

Let's take this back to the start:

CaptMike - Aggies choked so I got great seats to watch Tennessee choke!

    CaptMike - Acie Law sucks

RM - Acie Law is a saint, so STFU and nice job re-appearing to rip on my team after you were oddly absent when Marist torched your ass

    CaptMike - I wish I had a life.

    RM - No help here

CaptMike - Let's bring up more stuff about olympic wrestlers from my school because I know it has nothing to do with the 2007 NBA draft.

Sean Sutton is suspected of drunk driving OSU's season into the ground.
Again, I'm no homer nor am I a stat geek, but do you really believe that?

OSU started the season by dumping two (or was it three) scholarship players and didn't have enough players on the roster to have a full 5 on 5 practice for most of the season. They also had a short bench, that down the stretch, had the starters playing too many minutes.

I don't think young Sutton "drove the season into the ground" at all, rather I'm suprised he had the team as compe ive as it was.

And as whatshisname from the Fantastic Four would say, "Flame On!".
