did the board change to a dark gray colored font for the forum menu? it hurts my eyes because it doesn't look quite so clear.
if Dirk and JHo are really limited by this injury then there's no reason to go Willis Reed on a regular season game. but if they are truly fine, they need to go out and play. you cant just go on vacation because you have the #1 seed pretty much locked up. you dont play the game trying to avoid injuries in any sport
Diaw does seem to play better without amare around. It will be interesting to see if D'antoni starts K.T instead of diaw.
On the other hand D'antoni does not do a lot of adjustments so he might just start diaw. Atleast he seems to try and play the bench more these days, mostly rose.
This game is a must win for the Suns. The Spurs fans are rooting for the Mavs today. Maybe the Mavs should tank the game so the Spurs don't gain any ground on the Suns and keep that #3 seed. On second thought, I HATE THE SUNS and the SPURS! BEAT EM!
No chance. He'll start Diaw on Dirk, then when foul trouble hits, use Bell, Jones and Marion at random, then probably Marion exclusively come the fourth quarter.

That's how it should start. Now, once Diaw gets into foul trouble, they need to bring in Thomas and play him for 20 minutes. Play him alongside Amare and Marion.
While Nash is the team's biggest reason for success, he is also the biggest reason why they will NOT win a championship, this year, or anytime soon. It doesnt matter who Nash is on, they will eat him alive, whether its Terry or Harris. And the way both have been playing lately... this doesnt look good for your Suns.

With the way the Suns are playing as of late...I think the Mavs will take this one.
I just placed a bet on the Suns -2 just because the game is much more important to them than the Mavs. The Suns are trying to hold on to the #2 seed (HCA vs. the Spurs in the 2nd round).
Suns need this for #2 seed... no doubt - this will be a good chance to see if they can handle the pressure... possible preview for playoff intensity.
Btw, I'm now in Dallas - right next to Reunion Arena... you all that live here should have felt the tremors of my presence as I landed.
argh, i haven't slept in about 24 hours...i don't know what to do...tivo the first game and wake up two hours from now to watch the mavs live with the chance that i might find out about the first game before watching it or stick it out and continue staying awake...if i can stay awake until tipoff of the second game the adrenaline from the second game will keep me going
Thats just asking for trouble. I bet that when those two are on the floor, the team's efficiency drops by about 20 points. They are two of the top 10, possibly top 5 worst defensive PGs in the entire NBA.
However, one of the most offensively efficient players is stretch with his patented "O"-face fellating Dirk/JET/Howard all at once.
