What should they have done? Dumped it in and given Dallas another chance to mount a rush with numbers? Given Dallas a chance to get it back to one and then hope that there were no lucky breaks that went the Stars' way?

It's the Stanley Cup playoffs; teams do what they must to clinch wins. As long as Dallas was going to press with an extra skater to get scores, Vancouver had every right to score goals and increase its lead.
It was heat of the moment for me, and my lifelong Wings fan Karl thought doing that double empty netter within like, what, 20 seconds, was cheap too. Oh well, I thought it was lame as though but I am upset of the loss.

The more Dallas losses, the better.

Yeah, Luongo and Turco battle in the first round will not be forgotten for a while. That was a really tough first round series, infact that was WCF-levels of compe iveness. Good series Canucks, hopefully we can finally get back to the finals, but I know you are also thinking the same.

Ducks won't be easy, their offense is a lot more explosive than ours. We have a lot of great defensemen but for some reason our lines have had a difficult time getting scoring chances or goals, which is weird since we are like the best shoot-out team. Oh well, outted in the first round again, but we'll be back!
