When you realized she was getting a 28$ sushi sampler you should have forgotten about ordering your own rolls. I mean, that kind of sampler should be good for two people. If you ordered two rolls and she did the same, would be getting close to 28 dollars anyways, so ya might as well just share the sampler, and order some tempura or something instead of more rolls. And I don't know about most girls, but some I've been with get full kinda quickly, better for you. If it was too late to cancel an order, or it would have seemed awkward/cheap, should know next time to ask while you're looking the menu over with your girl, "so what are you gonna get?". Know what you're getting into before ordering, at least. Might end up having to work around the lady, for the sake of your wallet and stuff... And yeah, sushi is expensive, so you def shot yourself in the foot there.
sushi tastes like anyway, so i'd say you're crazy. take her to jack in the box next time...
btw, sushi as a healthy food is overrated. not to mention it was intended to be eaten in very small quan ies...which most Americans do not. on top of that, most of it is severely overpriced and coupled with the fact it tasted like ass...i'd probably avoid it.

First mistake was taking her out for sushi if you're low on cash. Haven't you ever heard of Chili's? Girls love that place for some reason.
If she ordered a $28 plate (and you're in high schoool?!) then you did the right thing by dumping her. This is a sign of things to come with a girl like that. She'll have no regard for your checking account.
