    Another thing to not discount.

The Warriors have guys that can get hot, and can win games.

    Harrington. Davis. Stephen Jackson.

Jackson has big game experience and CAN knock down big shots.

The road for the Mavericks to the WCF will be wayy tougher than the Spurs's.

You might be disappointed but if the mavs want to win the championship it would be in their interest to have the easiest road possible. Save some of that emotion for rounds 2 and 3.

yeah, i know, especially after the mavs had to play the rockets seven games in the first round while the suns swept the grizzlies. if the warriors do make the playoffs and don't meet the mavs then i guess it would be pretty cool to see them match up agains the suns, that would be a very fun series but it would help the spurs because the suns will be zipping all up and down the court with the warriors. that's cool though because i think the spurs will beat the suns in six.

...no homer, they will be equally tough, the nuggets are on a roll and they're not going to roll over for the spurs, neither are the suns...both of those series will go six

How ever did Golden State get to be a .500 team with so much greatness no one knows about? It's a Don Nelson team. Been there, done that. All of the little tricks and junkball he likes to throw out in the regular season won't cut it when the pressure is on and this relatively young team is staring at some virgin playoff appearances.

here is the problem with dallas and gs

same deal with dallas and phx

dallas always gets caught up in the run and gun game of the warriors and suns. if they could control the tempo (which i think they will come playoff time) i think the mavs will be fine

gotta admit though, he's cleverly sneaky...my favorite was during the first game of the season against the warriors, one of the mavs went hard on monta ellis and it wasn't that bad because ellis was getting ready to get up off the floor but don nelson told him to stay down on the ground until they called a flagrant

i do know because i've tried to look at all the angles as to why we lost to the warriors and this is one of the reason. anyway, i'm not a guy. worried about the nuggets much? you sound like you are based on your thread the other night.

he didn't change the subject. you said the mavs' road was going to be much tougher than the spurs' road to the wcf...he pwned you. what is it that you don't understand about your own posts?

    We will see.

If the Warriors are smart, they will force the tempo.

two teams that play no defense vs a team that swept you guys and two other teams with bigs that give the mavericks tremendous problems and play good defense?

    Yeah I was clearly owned.....

yup, this is true and dallas will be fine IF like you said, they don't get caught up in the run and gun offensive b.s....which is one of the reasons i'd much rather see the spurs than the suns, no need to feed those negative tendencies that linger from the nellie daze...not saying it will be easier to beat the spurs but avery can make more adjustments from game to game than just screaming at the mavs to slow it down and stop jacking up jumpers

absolutely...to elaborate, i have two tivo boxes and a slingbox along with league pass...i will never look back, the best thing about watching games. i can't even stand to watch most games live, i usually wait half an hour before watching them so that i can click through all the b.s....if you get tivo make sure you add the 30-second commercial egg

so by your logic, the bucks and cavs would have a field day if they were to see the spurs in the playoffs? get outta here with that b.s. and try to make some logical sense. get back to me when camby and nene play no d against the spurs and i'll give you a jolly rancher. i didn't say the nuggets would win the series, but they will push it to six, no more.

i'm out for the night, we'll see what happens tomorrow although i expect the warriors will get the playoff lock and who knows what will happen to the lakers

If both don't go six you need to do a striptease with Spurs gear.

uh no thats not my logic....

My logic is that the Warriors give the Mavs hardcore problems, and the Rockets and Jazz match up fantasticly vs them and could very well knock them off.

What is the 30-second commercial egg?

I can operate every single piece of electronics I own without batting an eye, but the intricacies of Tivo still baffle me. Well, that and the fact I've only had this box for less than 24 hours.
