I think GS is one of the teams who are not actually afraid of the Mavs, IMO.
i don't know
so, a sweep is not guaranteed.
Spurs in Dallas are undefeated this year with Duncan in the game.
Apparently you're not following. The regular season only matters when one of the following two things happen:
-The Spurs win or
-The Mavs lose
Otherwise, all that matters is the playoffs. Try to keep up.
no need to feel sorry for them, they lost too many games down the stretch while the warriors stepped up despite having several guys in and out of the roster due to injuries...warriors deserve this playoff appearance way more than the clippers
you're right, anyone thinking sweep is being a bit ridiculous with the homer enthusiasm...anyway, i think talking about teams as being *scared* is also ridiculous
WERE COMIN MAVS FANS.Do u think the series starts sat or sun?
That might be the weakest thing I've ever read.
And I'm a member of the Oprah Book Club, so I know weak when I see it.
Sunday 7pm was the talk even before the games started tonight.
The only thing that isn't guaranteed is Golden State's safety.
Is it really that hard to hit a few extra keys on your keyboard and actually spell out words? Never have understood this . I bet it starts Sunday. It better anyway because if it's on Saturday I won't get to see it.
Its gonna be really interesting how our young guys respond to the atmosphere, we need guys like monta, biedrins and pietrus to play well to have a chance.
Your only chance at beating us is by scoring more points than us. That doesn't happen often.
avery mentioned sunday in some interview he gave yesterday so probably sunday
Go Spurs!
Wait we have done that 6 out of 7 times and 4 straight times on the mavs court.
just curious, how many warriors have been to the playoffs? i know stephen jackson, baron davis, who else? (i'm being serious, you're a cool poster...i think, lol!)
It's all about matchups- Golden State's recent record against Dallas is no fluke. Dallas should try and control the tempo against GS, but they won't. they will run and push the ball just like they always do, which plays right into Nellie's hands. Golden State has the athletes to match Dallas- especially in an uptempo game. I would never pick a team as dominant as the Mavs this year to lose to an eight seed, but no way is this a sweep. This was not the first round matchup Dallas wanted.
In the regular season. Last I checked, the Warriors haven't even been in the playoffs in over 10 years.
I think that it will be a tough series, but Dallas will pull out every win. Golden State's only real chance is to have a game like they had in March against us, or for some bizzare flukes to happen in the final moments of a game.
jackson, baron, harrington, powell went there with you guys i think I'm he never played though and barnes was on the kings when they made it but i don't think he got any pt though either.
the mavs blooper reels they showed at halftime were awesome
oh yeah, powell...he may have played a few minutes in the heat series
