I take that as a testament to Kobe and the fact that he wants to win. To allow a coach to coach you after a tell all book is very surprising and out of character for a person that you consider so selfish and horrible.
If by "allowing to coach him" you mean "going 1-10 by jacking up shots over double teams" then yes, you are correct.
