I agree, when phrases like " you are a dumb " are used in responses, it really drops the intelligence level of what is trying to be said. leonard is also very guilty of this abuse. Lame very lame but I am not here to bash either, they make their cases for their teams.She's overrated and a homer.

mabber is probably my favorite Mavs fan (I don't count Mouse, considering he's actually a Spurs fan).
There's a couple good Suns fans.
I can probably tell you the fans that bug me more than I can tell you the ones I like. I don't usually read the user names unless I want to respond to something.

Did you make the Bonus Basket and get the autographed ball? I've never seen anyone make that in 150+ games I've gone to.
Also ironic that they give whataburger for a year and then a gym membership. Doesn't it like cancel itself out?
Anyway, I think the Pistons guys are pretty solid. Used to hate most of the Mavs fans, but a lot of them are coming around. Shank, ponky, mono, LEONARD, adrienne... those foos are cool with me. I like derailing Spurs nasty's threads with movie chat with Shank. Good times.

The quality and knowledge held by a fan base is usually in direct correlation with how long that fan base has followed the sport. And it usually takes championship runs for a fan base to truly become hardcore fans.
That's why Pistons fans, who have been following championship quality teams for a long time now dating back to the early '90s, are usually the smartest and most level headed. Suns fans are probably next in line as you can date them back to the Sir Charles teams.
And it's why Mav Fan, who most started following the sport a couple years ago, can be ultra defensive, paranoid and lack general NBA knowledge. The good news is that the Mavs have good for four or five years now so Mav Fan on a whole is starting to advance past the embryonic stage of development.
And it's also why Heat fans are so dumb. They've been following the sport for one maybe two years max.
Spurs fans are a mixed bag. There are some with knowledge that can rival any fans in the NBA. Then there some who couldn't piece together an intelligent basketball take if their life depended on it.
Kind of reminds me of my mother. She is just a Playoffs Spurs Fan, and since her birthday is May 3, I usually end up taking her to a playoff game around her birthday. But she has very little BBall knowledge, and I often have to explain to her why Spurs Player X was called for a foul when she thinks there was no foul. It's kind of annoying. Conversely, she knows her football pretty well since my father played ball in college while they dated. I find explaining football to n00bs more difficult.
