    Was a flagrant called? I don't remember.
No. And there was no need for a flagrant.

But, IIRC, Manu was in the air when the foul was committed -- or at least was in his drive to the hole at that point. I think that explains the severity of his reaction.

Yeah, Manu flops sometimes and he embellishes contact. So do other players in the league, including both Iverson and Anthony.

Manu's flopping this season, even in these playoffs, is far less pronounced than what he did in 2005.
its all good. i just wanted to know how spurs fans think of manu being labeled a flopper. yeah i think melo & ai flops at times (uhmm...maybe not melo. he aint good at acting :P )

    cheers man!

I'm sorry but I don't see how a rake of the eyes could cause him to levitate like that. Usually when people get struck in the eyes, they fall to the ground holding their face.
Manu got raked in the eye while driving into the basket. He was stunned after that.

You keep on insisting that it was a flop just because of a still photo. I bet you did not even consider what happend before and after that photo.

How about you attack the basket, I'll rake you across the eyes, and we'll see if you just fall straight to the ground.
Sorry. I usually just chuck 3s.

devin harris is pretty good. i recall everything the nuggs play the mavs. harris flops like 3-4 times against AI. i can understand it being part of the game, just that i think its cheating the game a bit.
Agree. While there are fewer Manu flops this year, Harris is still consistent in that department.

I love how the Nuggets fans are taking up for AI as if he's been one of there own for years

Dude is the King of drawing little bs fouls, yall can't even deny that.... but as a undersized guard myself, I give him big time props for that. Just like I give Manu big props for drawing fouls like he does. Don't hate, they're playin the game. (Derek Fisher is another story tho... son of a flops like a girl... and may be the anit-christ)

Harrs is a defensive flopper same as Raja. Reggie Evans would be if he could get in the game. Manu use to be a defensive flopper but took that out of his game for the most part. Manu flops on O but he's probably an 8 while AI is the perfect 10.

Manu is so good he doesn't need to flop like that. I honestly believe he's a top five shooting guard in the league. On some days I've even said he's the third best SG in the league.

cmon man, i dont think there has been a mention about AI being our own for years.

but he's been in the league for over 10 yrs. if you havent seen quite a number of his games, i really dont know where you've been

oh yeah...fisher is devin harris' mentor.

    LOL, great picture!

I remember the play. JR Smith raked him across the face. It was defenitely a foul, but it's hilarious how Manu just catatpulted in the air flailing his arms and legs. It was a big time flop. I didn't care because it was a foul anyway. He flopped almost immediately when he got in the game during game 1 on an Iverson drive I recall. No call though.

Manu is easily one of the top 5 biggest floppers in the league. If Spurs fans can't admit that then you're just in denial. Wait to you guys get a chance to see Reggie Evans flop. He's defintely a top 5 flopper as well.

Haha, nah man... Trust me, i've been an Iverson fan since G-Town. I just thought it was funny to see AI come up in this convo like that and see Denver fans jump all over it and protect him like we do Manu. You gotta understand, I have seen him for 10+ years, I'm not used to seein him in that powder blue yet.

    Didn't mean anything by it...

And yes... Devin Harris is hated as well (since day 1 in the league), you can definatly see the Fisher in him, lol

I don't believe anyone said he doesn't ... he's just toned it down SIGNIFICANTLY this year.

you must admit he looks good in powder blue you must also realize that since AI came over to denver, we've got quite a number of bandwagoners too. although cambrad & co. that post here arent one of 'em

Yea, I've noticed the bandwagoners.... That's expected tho with a player as popular as Iverson and a team as good as Denver, already havin Melo and Cambyman and such.

I actually like watchin yall play alot.... one of the teams I check for, but for the next week or 2.... I have absolutly no love for the Nugs
