Halladay K's 8 as Jays pound Yankees Wang
TORONTO (AP) -- Vernon Wells had four RBIs, Roy Halladay struck out eight over seven innings and the Toronto Blue Jays beat the New York Yankees 15-4 on Wednesday night.
Frank Thomas added three RBIs for the Blue Jays, who have won nine of their past 11 home games.
Wells finished 3-for-4 and scored twice as Toronto matched a franchise high with nine doubles.
Robinson Cano hit two home runs, one a two-run shot, and Hideki Matsui added a solo blast, but the Yankees' five-game winning streak came to a close.
Halladay (13-5) gave up four runs and six hits over seven innings and walked just one.
By the way...KC really gave Colon a Royal licking the other night.
It was almost as bad as when Arod unloaded on Colon and took him deep.
Oh well...at least Colon hasn't been worked over by Wang yet.
Seriously though...which one do you guys think is better, Colon, or Wang?
This probably wouldn't be the best time to announce that I released Colon twice a few weeks ago.
Colon beats Wang every time.
