hopefully!
as long as bell is on manu, ontop of manu having a mental breakdown. i really dont see him doing much this series.
look at the matchup between manu and bell since bell has been on the suns...manu has been straight up owend.
I hate to admit it, but I think you're right. The only good game Manu had against the Suns was back in Feb., when Manu scored 32 points, but Bell got hurt and only played 12 minutes. Spurs lost 103-87.![]()
Its two games into the series. I'll do my best to recall this quote and we'll address it after Game 3. I'm willing to bet that Manu gets his on Saturday night.
In MANU we trust!

this is true. Manu needs to overcome his mental issues. they are obvious. THis is the reason of the thread. Bell's defense does not worry me.
when is the last time we've seen Manu use a screen!!?!!?!![]()
Saying that bell owned Manu is just false.
In 05-06, while Manu wasn't great during the regular season, he has had 4 good games agaisnt Suns and Bell.
In 06-07, Manu has struggles against Bell but you had to consider that Manu has had two slumps during this year. One in november before his back injury and one in april, 4 of the 5 games Manu has played against Bell were during these stretchs.
Bottomline is that when Manu isn't in a slump, he isn't owned at all by Bell.
You are right about the jumpers I think, especially all those 3's. Hr needs to get into the lane where he can create a little havoc like he has in past.
manu must remove head from ass and get in the game. find ways to contribute and let the scoring come in the flow of the game. he's just chucking jumpers right now. be the aggressor, attack the d, make the refs make a call. i don't care if you get your shot blocked 200 times. being aggressive always pays dividends.
Sorry Sun Fans but I don't think Bell is the reason Manu is playing bad. It started in the 1rst round. He is in a funk. He will be due for a good game. Also I have more confidence, because the Suns don't have anyone to keep Manu from going inside, since they don't have the shot blockers that the Nuggs have.
shameless bump
I told you so.
but is he back, though? manu was great, but he still needed nearly 20 shots to get 20-something points. i loved the drives and whatnot, but he's been so up and down this year, i'd hold off saying he's back to form.
