A local fast food chain is no more, and there's no word as to why.
Doors and windows are boarded up at the six Barnacle Bill's Seafood restaurants around San Antonio.
Workers say they were given no explanation, and had no clue why the restaurants abruptly shut down.
"I'm sad, cause this is like my second home. I made a lot of friends. Some of us got real close like brothers, stuff like that. But what can you do", said former Barnacle Bill's employee Erique Gonzalez.
The company did not respond to phone calls or even a visit at their corporate offices in San Antonio Monday afternoon.
Barnacle Bill's Seafood started in 1993 and for many years was associated with the Bill Miller's Bar-B-Q Company, but the two companies parted ways six years ago.

Fred's Fish Fry has been around forever. I have no idea how. As stated earlier by another its always empty when I pass by one. Its funny.
Maybe they make all their money during lent for the whole year!

I eat crap from Red Lobster and LJS. I wish i new a good seafood place around me.

I like a local Mexican sea food place called Gulfo de Mexico. Its good.
