I thought he was way harsher on the Pistons than the Spurs...
but maybe I'm just biased.
I agree.

We're used to it. We heard it all through the 90's and through the Lakers run earlier in the decade.
Oh no! Let's start whining like phx fans!
Everybody hates us!
Won't matter unless the Suns win the series. Anything short of that, and we'll be hearing the same old (*) story.
You are a great American, ..Rome..
Okay, just listened to it. As usual, SunsBum is full of junk. Anyway:
Rome acknowledges that the Suns got jammed, that the rule is bogus, and he says that WHILE HE HOLDS COACH POPOVICH IN HIGH REGARD he does not agree with Pop's assertion that the foul on Nash was just a normal foul, and hinted that Nash might have faked it.
Rome said that the Spurs are getting rewarded, essentially, through Horry's hard foul.
I did not once hear Rome rip on the Spurs. He ripped on that League rule but said nothing bad about the Spurs.
He also said that if Nash finds a way to lead the Suns to victory tonight that Dirk had better walk that MVP trophy over to his little buddy's house tomorrow.
ehhh, whatever, rome just goes which ever way the wind blows
That was the best bit...
I don't listen to the show regularly, but does Rome just basically say the same for a couple of hours, and read people's emails, and repeat?
Haha. Ronnie, master of "I never check my facts" strikes again.
People still listen to Rome? LOL!
Hey Sunsbum, Woody Paige agrees with you too, you want to start a thread about that as well?![]()
The only person who deserves to be ragged on here is Horry for that foul, everyone knows he was out of line. Everything else the league followed by the letter of the law and people are whing about it pointlessly.
Probably no more or less than before today?![]()
That's Rome's style...inflammatory "journalism" to get ratings. Who the gives a what he said?
The national media want to see the Suns advance...it's more fun for them to cover. It's as simple as that. Most of them want to blame the Spurs for being dirty, or Stern for being unfair, yet fail to lay any blame on Amare and Diaw. It's hilarious to hear them say that Amare and Diaw only took a few steps...they were closer to the altercation than to the bench.
Horry gave Nash a good bump, but after watching the replay a few times, Nash really sold that . He got the call he wanted...too bad his teammates are a bit dense.
Wow. Jim must be a flip-flopper. When he was interviewing Josh Howard the other day, he said otherwise.
Rome doesn't like us? :sniff: :sniff: I think I need to cwy.![]()

Have a take and don;t suck...also go bang your monkey genius![]()
Jim Rome AND Dan Patrick don't like the Spurs? Wow, what a news flash.
and I give a f*** because?
Man Rome is a whiny and thats what his show is all about.
Having met him, I can honestly say Jim Rome is a dumb ass. He literally is as much a broken record in real life I think as he is on the radio.
Nash is such a little !Fouls today are so ing ticky tack. That was a light bump.
jim rome is gay, his tv show is ok but his radio show sux. i hate to hate on a fellow italian but for real all he does on his radio show is read stupid text messages and rag on ppl who send them. also he pauses for like 10 seconds every other 20 seconds just to rag on someone
