I hope the Spurs will at least honor their mvp by giving Stern the game ball
Why don't you spend more time rooting for your team than this crap. We have a game 6 coming up, you just beat us in SA and you are getting Amare and Diaw back and we are still without Horry. This game 6 is going to be a battle.

Why do the Suns think that they should be able to cheat in order to win? A vCookie for the first Suns fan with the balls to even answer the question.
You're absolutely right!! I think Nash should be severely chastised for getting in Horry's way when he was running by the scorer's table. and shame on everyone for getting in the way of Bowen's foot when he was swinging his leg.

You're absolutely right. I started out kidding around and everyone got pissed. Game 6 will be a good one and it will be a battle. If everyone brings their "A" game it will be fun to watch. Good Luck.

The Spurs have NO FLASHY PLAYERS

    They play BORING basketball

The 03 and 05 finals were the lowest rated in NBA History

why on EARTH would stern want to help the spurs?

it makes no freakin sense! doesnt stern have more to gain if the SUNS make it to the finals? they have flashy players, dunks, alley oops, and they are entertaining.

I've vented here over the last few days, but speaking only for myself, I'm officially moving on from this. We got screwed, but there's nothing more to be done about it now except, win or lose, use it to make us stronger.

This is a good board, by the way.

Way to not answer the question. Horry got suspended two games for the hit on Nash, and Nash wasn't even hurt.

Why do you think that the Suns should be allowed to cheat (the NBA ignoring a mandatory suspension rule) in order for them to win?

You didn't get screwed. Nash sold a hip check so convincingly that the Spurs are without a huge part of their team for two games. If Amare and Diaw weren't too stupid to follow the rules everyone would be talking about how unfair it is that the Spurs are without Horry.

The 03 final ratings were mainly because of the NETS, nobody on earth gives a about them not even in NJ. The 05 finals ratings were much better and game 7 actually got a huge rating.

Are you re ed? Not like in a joking way, but like really re ed, like Corky from Life Goes On? There wasnt an altercation on the court when Duncan went on it, therefore no suspension.
Who at the ins ution let you stay up late enough to watch "Life Goes On"? I'll be checking with Mr. Jackson to see if that's either correct or fair.

Sorry I offended you. Like Stargazer said, it's time to move on. Good luck in game 6.

Way to change the subject again and fail to answer a simple question. Proves you know that you're full of and are willing to cheat in order to win, AFAIC.

This cat refuses to answer Mikey's two intelligent, simple questions. Another Phoenix fan talkin' loud but saying nuthin'.

How about the Spurs allow Amare and Boris to kiss the trophy since their stupid actions hurt Phoenix in the series.

    Next wasteful thread, please!

I'm shocked at how many sports guys are saying that the commissioner should have just ignored a red letter rule just because they want the Suns to win. them. I hope the Spurs close it out on Friday. I was on board with everyone being spared for the fun of the compe ion, but some guys are saying that Horry deserved his suspension but Amare and Diaw should have been allowed to play. That's the most patently unfair thing I've ever heard in my entire life.

It would appear that "Mikey's" and "two intelligent questions" is an oxymoron comparable to "Jumbo Shrimp". Get a life

You can imagine what that does to David Stern's blood pressure, after all he had to deal with after the Lakers-Kings debacle five years ago.

And now many in the media are complaining that he isn't showing blatant favoritism to the ratings-friendly team.

Doug Gottlieb on ESPN Radio today actually prayed to God that the Suns win Game 6 ON THE FREAKING AIR.

I'm guessing ABC/ESPN at this point will not be invited to bid on renewing its contract with the NBA.

It's all about the . If ABC/ESPN ponies up the big bucks the NBA will happily take the money and run all the way to the bank.
