I was working in Phoenix in 2003 and decided to go to the Suns/Spurs playoff game in which the Spurs won to close out the series. As the game wound down and it was obvious the Spurs had won, people started throwing full cups of beer/coke off the second level and onto other fans below. Niiiice!

Sun's Media Machine: Water Bottle Thrown at Tim Duncan Big Misunderstanding, we are the Nice guys fighting the Dirty Spurs.
It was an act of kindness.

Yeah, but the forum still exists. With search on over the last few days, it wouldn't.
The last two days, I believe were our most page views/unique users ever.
throwing anything at someone because you are pissed is definitely not cool
What a waste of a water bottle... If I were there, I would have thrown Craig Sager at Timmy.
That truly is stupid. I'm not surprised, but damn, just plain dumb.
Why would they throw a bottle at Tim?
You would think they'd be looking for Ninja Bruce.
Thanks for adding value to the forum, asshat
This is pro wrestling. Water bottles and metal chairs are the norm. It's just a destraction from the rigged ending.
Stay Classy Phoenix.
Where are all the Phoenix people telling us how its "only a couple of morons doing it"????
unfortunately there is more than just one in that stupid arena. The crowd there is extremely violent, stupid, arrogant (why I don't know) and just plain rude. I'm sure someone will get shot there some day.
VERY LOW CLASS, they don't even have class. They are bottomfeeders
Those two morons are everywhere!!
I'm not surprised by the Sun fans actions after listening to what they have been saying for the past week.
The 7 footer is easier to spot.![]()
My only surprise is that it was a water bottle and not a wine cooler. I personally doubt there is a person with a pair in the entire state.
I know NoCal is supposed to be wine country but there is more Whine in Arizona than any place on earth.
it was probably aquafina
nothing but the best for TD
Didn't they boo everytime the Spurs brought the ball up the court, no matter who it was? Kinda juvenile.
