    Stockton was not a better player than Isiah Thomas.... Isiah was a better player.

    well at least he's good at evaluating talent in drafts. he's made horrible free agent signings with the MLE. i think the knicks have talent, just not good chemistry or direction. they also need to get a better conditioning program and better trainers to help avoid certain avoidable injuries. they still got a ways to go, but they do have talent on that team.

    show me the payroll under layden when isiah took over, compare, then get back at me. isiah was hamstrung with what he had to work with. dolan allowed him to make deals by adding more longterm salaries in order to try to get better. he did so. it's a mess financiallly. isiah is to be blame for that, but it's not entirely his fault. and, my point was not that he is a good president. my point was that his roster has talent.
