Its the first time cleveland has ever been to the nba finals, and just won 4 straight against the pistons to do it. I somehow dont see him saying in front of the home crowd... "guys, this is great, but so is pop! I love that man and the city of san antonio for all its done for me... this is for you spurs fans!"

Yeah but AJ wasnt an assistant coach with SA but I guess we can say we have problems with Ex-Spurs and dont forget Danny Ferry is the GM of SA even though that really has nothing to do with the game. I think I am just overthinking this series too much.

and remember, aj didn't really outcoached pop, for the most part yeah, but if it wasn't for a boneheaded foul by manu we would've won that series

Given the history of the Cleveland Sport's Jinx, the euphoria of winning the "Leastern Conference" and first trip to the finals in the history of the franchise is understandable. Get off Brown's case, the SPURS will win the series in 4 or 5 games. Slam-dunk, in-the-bag, done-deal, go-for-throttle-up......... :

Personally, I don't agree with his answer. There were several other ways to answer that question that would show respect to your opponent without submitting to them and taking away from your current accomplishment and celebration. His answer, intentional or not, seemed to dismiss the fact that the Spurs are waiting.

Not necessarily awful, but not a good answer.

Why are you guys analyzing his answer. He just won the East Conf Champ. and I'm sure his mind wasn't focused on the the Spurs or Pop at that moment. Let the guy enjoy this before you start bashing him. I bet Pop could care less what he said.

And yes, I agree that LeBron makes him a better coach then he is.
