The only thing cleveland is known for is being the city by the lake...that caught fire.
How the does water catch fire? What do you use to put it out, lumber?
Cleveland = Bizarro World
becuase the Browns played in the stadium you dumbass
Oh. It wasn't because they didn't want to ruin expensive camera equipment?

Milwaukee Cleveland
eh
same thing.
that movie was filmed from September- November of 1988. Cleveland Stadium was a football field during those times
true...although at the beginning of the movie they use a shot of Cleveland Staduim.that movie was filmed from September- November of 1988. Cleveland Stadium was a football field during those times
right, but they couldn't show game scenes becuase there wasn't a baseball field in Cleveland at that time. Same goes for Major League 2 which was filmed at Camden Yards b/c the Jake was not completed
Hey the weather does suck here! Traffic does suck... ship channel ewwww... But I gotta say your DEAD WRONG about the Texans...
They are THE joke.![]()

i know you were
I don't know for sure but I am pretty confident that other sports movies have used alternate locations than the ones they were trying show.
I think it would be totally cool if the San Antonio River caught fire.
Maybe because as a culture (generally speaking, of course) we are a friendly and welcoming people ... hence the reluctance to embrace the obnoxious pricks who have nothing better to say than that our river is dirty and we're all fat...or some other derogatory, needless insult.![]()

Hey, I'm a San Antonian. I understand. I still find myself defending SA to people who drop the stereotypes, and I left right after the '99 le. I was just pointing out that we have a tendency to do that, unlike in Houston, Dallas or even Austin. But it has always been an uphill struggle for SA to even get her fellow Texans to recognize, so the complex is for the most part baked into the native mentality.
Why are some people's names in green and others are not? J/W
Most people I know, including myself, really don't give a about what people think about San Antonio. We're still here because we prefer it.![]()
Helps identify the new people or something like that .... if you get a custom le, I believe it then turns to black. There's a thread on the first page somewhere where you can put in your request for a le change.
Eh, for a city built on tourism, I think that people/businesses/government care more than you think. But I understand what you are saying.
EDIT: So we are straight, SA will always be home. Hope to make it back one day for good.
