Well I kind of understand this situation (watching the Sopranos) more than the movie situation. Tonight, all that these people are going to do is speed through the first half of the game on TIVO, and watch the rest of it in "real time". People who have tickets to go to a Spurs game and skip it to go to the movies is super lame to me.But like I said, to each his own.

I agree completely.
And how about removing the spoiler from the forum. I skipped over it, but that's just wrong. PM people if they want to know.
Couldn't have said it any better. I'm disappointed, 50.
I removed it within 30 seconds of him posting it.
Yeah, but this isn't the Bobcats in January; it's the NBA Finals.
Disappointed that I won't be watching the first half live?
I'll be there in "real time" for the 2nd half.
It's not like I'm buring my tickets to the game to stay home and watch Sopranos.
Like I said, I would just watch the Sopranos after. But I can see their point - they watch both by the time the Spurs game ends.
I'd never miss a Spurs game to go to the movies though.
Spurs.
I could aways DVR the sopranos.
"They cursed alot. Every once in awhile somebody died."
The best options were both said already. You have to watch both tonight because if you go to work in the morning the talk will either be a) NBA Finals or B) Soprano Finale
So just watch the west coast feed, or watch Sopranos, DVR the game so you can FF through commercials and Halftime. Thankfully you can do that because HBO is commercial free
50cent you should be so obsessed with the first half score that you'd be willing to stay up an hour later than necessary on a work night so you can know the score at the same time as everyone else..
My answer should be obvious as I have never seen one episode of the Sopranos in my life.
BTW, this thread should be in the "Taking A Dynasty For Granted" Forum.
Me too, and I still say Tony's gonna whack Phil then turn Mob-snitch for the Feds!
Not that I care, but are the ratings calculated at the beginning of the game or at the end? If it's the beginning, we might see the lowest rated game in Finals history.

Hey, there's a new episode of "The Loop" tonight too. Now what are you going to do?
It's funny that the NBA put this game on Sunday night so it would get alot of viewers, but they put it up against the series finale of one of the most popular shows in America over the last 8 years. It should beat hockey though.
I consider myself to a pretty hardcore Spurs fan and my girlfriend thinks it's absurd how much I stress about a team of basketball players making millions.
It sounds like a lot of you are more obsessed that I am. How do you explain this to your significant others (that aren't equally obsessed like Kori and LJ)?
I tell them I'm going to watch the Spurs game.It sounds like a lot of you are more obsessed that I am. How do you explain this to your significant others (that aren't equally obsessed like Kori and LJ)?
And all season long they've been having those Sunday afternoon double headers!! I really enjoyed those and I wish they could do at least one normal houred game.
true.
But I wouldn't turn down head from Meadow while watching a Spurs Finals game.
