Here in California, the burger of choice is IN-N-OUT Burger.

They are awesome. IF ya can get to Vegas they are out there too.

For years, I've seen many car stickers that show people who have the In-n-Out urge.

I flippin hate In-out-Burger, their meat taste rank. The nearest whataburger is in Kingman AZ from Vegas

I miss chic-fil-a more than any fast food place.

Whataburger tastes like ass compared to the west coast's In-N-Out Burger.

Whataburger shuts down hangovers like Bruce Bowen shuts down Lebron James. Very good.

Taco Cabana? I miss me some Las Palapas and Bill Miller. Ah, Bill Miller...always a spit in the wind away.

Anyone ever tried Longhorn out on Blanco? Is it still there? Went there once when I was in town.
When in Rome ... I wouldn't call TC the place to go for Mexican food for sure .. Azuca's anyone ??? Oh my gosh!!! Their tortilla soup is to die for .. Las Palapas has the best beef enchilada's ..

For a while my midwestern friend thought I was saying 'Waterburger'. You just say it that way.

I miss those in the NE. Better than Steak n Shake.
Agreed, Steak n Shake is overrated.

Although, I used to see Chris Paul and Speedy Claxton at the one in Oklahoma City all the time. That and the bowling alley. So Steak n Shake will always have a special place in my heart.

Blasphemy! (I'm not a fan of sonic, except for their drinks).

Overrated, although better than Whataburger, but I don't think you can compare the two. Whataburger = fast food. Whataburger is the equivalent of McD's, Wendy's, Jack in the Box, etc. And I think Whataburger is the best fast-food burger.

Other burger joints (Sam's, Chris Madrid's, Chester's, Cheesy Jane's) are in a class by themselves.

The best burger I've had in San Antonio was $6.85, and from the Magnolia Pancake Haus. The secret? Super-sweet buns. They are awesome, homemade buns, with ground Angus, and fresh toppings.

    http://www.magnoliapancakehaus.com/

I urge any burger fan to check it out and let me know what you think.
Chris Madrid's overrated!?! Tell me a better burger, cause I gotta get my hands on something that can put Chris Madrid's to shame next time I'm in SA. I've never had a burger anywhere that compares at all to Chris Madrid's cheddar cheezy.

What about the shakes? I don't like the Animal Style, but a triple triple and a strawberry shake is the . You're right though; the fries are ass.

When I lived in Virginia, there was this little family-owned Mexican restaurant called "El Paso" right down the road from my house that had food that was off the chain...damn, I miss those tacos al pastor!

And I eat at Whataburger several times a week.

Check out La Tortillita on FM 78. Technically not in S.A., but close enough.

There's a Whataburger on Staples St. in Corpus that is directly across the street from the Corporate HQ. It's the one they have pictures of in many of the other Whataburgers around the state. That one has the BEST customer service of any fast food joint I've ever been in!

Gotta be on your toes when the CEO might drop in at any time!

Speaking of Corpus, we like the Boat 'n Net. Great mass-produced seafood and fried chicken at prices I haven't seen since the '70s.
