You would not believe.......the level of denial Dallas BB fans have. Most of them are listening to exactly that kind of derisional creative spin, and buying into it! It seems to be the common trait in places where professional teams don't live up to the expectations of it's fans. Dallas hoop fans in general are looking for exactly that kind of rea ed speil that is formulated to be so farcical.
(case in point, look at the current state of the typical Phonix mindset)

However, after snooping around a little bit, I have seen that there is a small but growing number of Mavs fans that have awakened from the slumber caused by that early playoff exit. They are asking some very good questions now that show a lot of common sense and it remains to be seen if the rest of the NBA Mavs fans in Dallas will, in turn, start asking those same kind of questions, making sensible demands that will help turn around those that are still at that denial stage.
