I don't care that Avery Johnson is the coach of the Mavericks. I think it's great that he's coaching a "successful" team. I just think he is overrated in Spurs land. He was a decent point guard, a fair passer and an average decision maker. His shooting was too streaky in my opinion.

He was a decent player. I just disagree with putting him on a pedestal with the likes of Gervin, Silas, Moore, Robinson and Duncan.

Avery definitely should be in that pic. So what if he's with the Dallas organization now. If Tim, Manu and others on that pic end up coaching some where else when they get older are we also supposed to hate them and take them off too? Not recognizing Avery is like not recognizing the 99 Championship. He was the spirit of that team and we all know that.
